"Hm." Elrika chuckled as she stepped away from her position, turning a full circle to examine her surroundings properly. "Committed to peace. You know what that screams to me? Underhanded government actions." She threw a grin at the vulcan. "Humans are hardly a peaceful species. Believe me. I know. We have a wonderful way of fucking everything up."
She eyeballed the man in front of her, eyes bright. “You gonna keep me at gunpoint forever? Because I’m starting to get tired of it.” She spread her hands. “I’m not gonna hurt anyone that doesn’t give me a reason to hurt them, but I assume that you’re gonna wanna ask me some questions. Who I am. Where I came from.” She shrugged. “Standard fare.”
"If you care to share them." He put his phaser back on his belt. "I find that those who profess to mean no harm are often lying. Humans are perhaps violent where you come from, but the species is much more evolved that it once was. I have read your histories. But I do not expect you to believe me, time and this crew will show you the truth." He knew humans very well indeed, but he did not say this to her. Experience was a better teacher than words. He did appreciate her frank manner.
Your hideous haircut eliminates every chance of my considering any word that emerges from your lips as valid.
You would be the expert on the first matter, and so I will defer to your very obvious superior knowledge of ‘hideous haircut’s. As for a haircut rendering one’s point invalid…well, I believe that if you take into consideration the first part of my argument you’ll find that the things you say mean very little at all and are likewise ignored.
On the other hand, my hair is, at the very least, practical. I would like to hear your excuse.

Slowly she laughed at his warning. Out-manned and out-gunned? Been there. Done that. “Sorry.” She glanced around, loosening her arms obligingly and lifting her hands. “Don’t mean to offend but… this is pretty standard fare for me.”
She shrugged. “I’m not gonna hurt anyone as long as I don’t got a reason to. Trust me.” Her eyes narrowed. A vulcan. Really. The best her hallucinating state could come up with for a new race was ears and eyebrows? Come on, imagination.
"Alright. New question," she murmured, glancing around. "Why am I here?”
"You appeared on this ship unprovoked. I did not summon you, and so I have no explanation." He studied her carefully. "The simple answer would be that I do not know." He shifted a bit. "You will not be hurt unless you give us reason. The Federation is committed to peace." He folded his hands behind his back. She was awfully cocky for someone who was facing down a creature she had obviously never encountered before. She could not be blamed for not knowing his physical capabilities, but he had no plans on hurting her. She was obviously fairly reasonable...and likely human.

Shepard grinned, eyes widening. “I’d advise against the whole ‘detaining’ thing. Never works out well.” She folded her arms over her chest and cocked her hip. “Commander Elrika Shepard. Systems Alliance Navy, N7 Marine, and Spectre for the Citadel Council.”
As per ICT first encounter training, Elrika knew that the man in front of her wasn’t human, and she wasn’t meant to antagonize. Yeah. Like that ever happened.
"What are you?"
He did not return her smile or show any indication that he thought this funny. In fact at her mild warning he seemed to grew even more serious. "You are out-manned and out-gunned, if it is shown that your imprisonment is for the betterment of this crew, I will see it done." His words were even and measured, but his black eyes intent upon her face.
"I am a Commander of this vessel as well as it's First Officer and Chief Science Officer. If it is to my race which you are referring Commander, I am a Vulcan." He was blunt and gave her no more information than that which she had asked for. She was a potential hostile, and while he had yet to form an opinion of her personally one thing was for certain, nearly no one ever appeared aboard this ship for a friendly visit.

"Yours is not a uniform I have seen before. Explain yourself and your presence aboard this ship immediately or I will have you detained."

I’m going to get off. I just feel really bad now. I didn’t meant to hurt anyone’s feelings
first of all, I've only known you an hour and I know you're not a bitch. Secondly, anyone who's too chicken shit to come to you off anon and speak to you like an adult doesn't get to tell you how to run your blog. Also, no one gets to tell you how to run your blog AT ALL. Thirdly? I lost track..., Thirdly, it was OBVIOUSLY a joke. That this anon did not realize that, is NOT your fault. Don't let tumblr bring you down. It's full of very over-sensitive people who don't understand sarcasm or how angst rp works on this site. People say that all the time 'Why do you do this to me?" "Omg, you suck" "ULG ANGST, WHY". You weren't out of line, and if the person who was so offended by your actions didn't have the balls to come to you face-to-face and say so so you could discuss it in PRIVATE, they really have no right to be saying anything at all.
Just my two cents. ))
I have returned to inform you that I am no longer a book.
You are to be congratulated. I trust you found the experience educational?
It seems those who might say you are less pig-headed than your human captain do not know you half so well as they think.
We are at an impasse, then. I fail to see why the subject merits further discussion.
There are few who know me well enough to make any sort of claim to my stubbornness with any validity. I do not know with whom you were speaking, but it is clear you have gathered very little data on the matter yourself. Are all Gods prone to such idle and menial gossip?
It merits no further discussion. I have seen plenty to support my hypothesis.
"What you have done is a result of your own ego and your inability to take responsibility for your actions. You need not shout at me, my hearing is quite astute. Perhaps I have misunderstood the situation. I would hear your side of the story."
"My side of the story? Looking for a story, are we?” His anger took on a maniacal edge, and magic began to gather in his person. With a wild laugh, he let loose his spell— magic gathered around Spock’s form and with a flash of golden light, the Vulcan was transformed into a book. Albeit one with a limited capability for movement and the ability to rearrange its ink in the interest of communication.
I have returned to inform you that I am no longer a book.
You are to be congratulated. I trust you found the experience educational?
Indeed. I found it to be most edifying. However, it does not change my original point in the least, so if you are hoping that you had 'taught me a lesson', I must inform you that that is not the case.
Saavick you flirt!!

"They weren’t just prisoners! They were my crew!" She hisses at him. "I’m supposed to keep them safe but instead I got them tortured." She rests her head in her hands. "I’m a horrible captain."
"Your official record shows that this is simply not the case," Spock said, coming to stand beside her chair. He did not move to comfort her, but he did soften his tone a bit. "And blaming yourself for the actions of Klingons is most illogical."
It was true, they had often not seen eye to eye, but Spock had come to at least respect Jamie Kirk's command. He even considered her a friend. She didn't treat him like a robot or a freak, and while he professed not to feel anything, it was rather...nice to be treated like a living being with thoughts. He did not begrudge the crew their nervousness. He was, after all, the first Vulcan in Starfleet and while humans had come a very long way, species-ism had some basis in survival instincts.

"Can we not do this now, Spock?" She asks him. "I know that I shouldn’t have lost my temper the way I did…but," She grits her teeth and curls her hands into fists, digging her nails into her palm. "What they did…"
"Torturing prisoners is nothing new for their race, Captain. Destroying their ship and all on board could be considered an act of war. It is an action you took against my advice and so I must assume there is something human at play here that I am overlooking. I would ask that you do not lie to me." He said this easily, as if they were discussing weather and not a brewing intergalactic war.

"Hold on a second." She says to the person who just walked into her quarters. "And…done!" She puts down her PADD and twirls her chair around. "Was there something you needed?"
"I wish to discuss your...actions today with the Klingons," he said in his soft, measured tones, his hands clasped behind his back. "It would appear that you lost your temper. Would you care to explain why?"
Captain? How may I be of assistance?
Ah, Mr Spock.
─Just who I was lookin’ for.
Yeah, yeah. Now, what time are you getting up tomorrow?
0500, as per usual. And you?
Captain? How may I be of assistance?
Ah, Mr Spock.

I have good reasons to be vulgar, as you say; because normally you don’t wanna be seen within like three feet of me because I’m immature and illogical, or something like that.
It’ll be nice to have some company.
It is refreshing to hear that you see your faults as clearly as I do.
