yeah...I've had that shirt a while and I walked into class one day and someone mentioned it and I slapped my hand onto my face so hard I nearly knocked myself out

so for the final part of my aztec uni work to bring everything together i decided to create a scrapbook that yaretzi would have made, its full of photos from her camera and expands upon their lives travelling to and from the coast

particularly proud of the rendering on this one i think it ended up looking really cool :)

this is yaretzi, tetzi and tlallis home, its mostly based off of mongolian yurts, i did rush a bit to get this one finished particularly so the perspective is a little wonky lol

i guess these are technically ocs??? is that how that works?? anyways yaretzi and tetzi are siblings and tlalli is their grandma

the worldbuilding is kind of hard to explain but theyre from an alternate history where aztec mythology was true and huitzilopochtli died after the conquistadores invaded tenochtitlan, this cast the world into an eternal winter and they live thousands of years later hoping that he will come back to thaw the sun
