The beauty of San Pedro is relatively hard to capture on camera. The vast and ethereal landscape is something that needs to be witnessed in person in order to understand its appeal.

This shot was taken on my friend’s film camera in San Pedro de Atacama. San Pedro is a desert landscape that feels other worldly. There are many places to explore on the vast terrain. Earlier this year I was living about an hour from this majestic place in a nice city called Calama. I spent a few weekends during my time there exploring San Pedro. It is a must see in Chile.
It was a chilly beach weekend with friends and one of the best sunsets I have ever seen! Pichilemu is a lovely little beach town a few hours south of Santiago. When I visited end of April it was quite empty and tranquil but I have heard in the summer it’s a completely different place. Definitely recommend.
This photo was taken on a horseback ride through the mountains of Mendoza.
Although wine tours are a must, horse back riding tours are another great way to spend time in Mendoza.
Iguazu falls is probably the most magical place I have ever visited. From panoramic views of the falls, to close up at the Devil’s throat, you will be amazed. I would recommend one full day on Brazil’s side and another full day on the Argentinian side. You will not be disappointed.
