Pablo Picasso:
Guernica is one of Picasso’s most famous works and if often considered to be his outward political statements. It critiques the bombing of Guernica by the Nazis in the Spanish Civil War. His use of dramatic grey mimics a photograph so the work will seem like a historical photographic record.
