“I…don’t think magic is necessary here. Have you been watering it regularly? Pruning it? Fertilizing it? Re-potting it every so often?” The last one was important, since bonsais grew in such tiny pots. They needed the nutrients offered by re-potting since they couldn’t extend their roots to search for more.

Sora was awful whenever it had come to plants --- She didn’t have a green thumb as the muggles called it. Nor did she ever keep anything alive for too long. But she did know what to do and for how long to do it --- As he asked her those important questions she simply nodded her head as her dark orbs rested on the others face. “I did all of those... I really think someone in the dorm might have done something to it” --- The female wore a small frown as she continued to look over the plant, seeing how pitiful it really looked.

“I just repotted it maybe.. “ she thought about it, eyes still glued to the bonsai tree “maybe a week ago and now it’s just dying... my poor little tree” --- She pouts some.

She wasn’t even sure how she had come to own it --- One day she was in her dorm and someone had delivered it to her via owl. She assumed it was Miri because of the fancy script she used to cover it up --- But Sora saw past that.

She couldn’t help but to sigh, eyes lowering from the plant. “Miri is going to kill me... I know she wanted me to be responsible, but I’m not good at this kind of stuff” --- She couldn’t help but to simply laugh It off nervously as she stayed at a reasonable distance from the professor whom she was sent to.

“Can you save the little guy?”

Sora had seen the girl around before, admired her from afar as she had done with a lot of the others. Silently examining her in solitude until she felt she could finally approach.

Today was finally that day.

With a smile plastered across her face the young Gryffindor made her stride to the Hufflepuff common room where she had already befriended quite a few others there and noticed the girl.

No.

She paused, body tense as her fists tightened up. Not today --- She played it cool and acted as if she wandered into badger territory by accident and left only to hide away in the library. There were moments where she became a bit too anxious and nerves somehow got the best of her.

Retrieving a piece of parchment and a random quill that wasn’t hers, she began to scribble some cursive letters down meant for the other girl to read. Hopefully this will initiate something and they could finally meet.

Dear Aiyana,

this may seem odd --- Even I believe It to be, but --- I’d love to be friends. I feel like having someone such as yourself ( the epitome of sunshine ) around my days and life may become a tad better.  You’re interesting, but yet I haven’t had the chance to really introduce myself.

Meet me? Atop the astronomy tower this evening whenever you’re free. I’d love to talk.

Sora was no stranger to the finer things in life --- And there was of course something extremely fine that had caught her eye as of lately. A slytherin girl. She never quite paid attention before since her attention had be caught by another, but ever since their departure she had been more open and out there --- Seeing things clearer now and noticing others she had never before.

Her name is Ami.

She wasn’t afraid to approach the other sixth year student, in fact --- She was beyond prepared to talk to her. The whole situation played out in the back of her mind for quite some time now and she was ready to bother her; Ready to make a friend with a rare beauty.

The air was thick, and the only noise that could be heard was the clicking of her heels against the concrete below as she inched nearer to the slytherin who sat idly at the table, eyes locked on a book. Sitting down beside her, she tilted her head in her direction and flashed a sly smile. “Ami, right?” She spoke softly, eyes watching her warmly. She really should have done this sooner, but with the way her feelings have been all out of whack she hadn’t had the chance to do much of anything.

“I wanted to invite you to Hogsmeade with me to grab a pint of honey beer” Her smile remained the same, spread across her features. “What do you say?”

Sora had a strong interest for plants --- But it wasn’t something she was good with. Her soft orbs watched over her withering bonsai tree. She did everything she thought of doing, minus magic. She wanted to try the muggle way of treating things --- But it seemed to be failing her since she was so out of tune with that world.

“Ughhh.” She pouted a bit, hands taking a hold of the plant as she held it close to her frame and rather delicately. She didn’t want to harm it no more than it already was. Who would she go to? She heard about the new herbology professor from a hufflepuff and figured she would give him a chance.

As she ventured out towards his green house, the overpowering smell of random flowers mixed together attacked her senses --- It was beautiful, yet almost too much where she couldn’t handle it. “Professor?” She called out, her voice soft as she walked around and looked over the various plants he had in his possession.

It made her sad that she wasn’t good at this, but at least she could say she tried. In all honesty, she believed a housemate of hers did something to it.

“My little bonsai tree needs your magical healing powers.. Miri sent me this way” She sighed, eyes falling to the plant she cradled. “Help me?”

Who was he? Sora tilted her head to the side for a moment as she stole a glance or two from a mysterious individual that seemed to have a staring problem. An almost inaudible huff escaped past her tinted pink lips as she shrunk in the booth she sat at by herself. Why was he staring so hard?

She could feel his eyes boring holes in her.

“Okay..” She tapped her finger nails against the table top before sitting up straight once more, head snapping as she glanced over in the mans directions. Lips parted as she glared at him, completely obvious that he was the target for the words just about to escape her lips.

“Why don’t you just take a picture?”

There she went again, speaking without a filter ( especially on a bad day ). She was surprised it hadn’t gotten her in trouble yet, but she was a smooth talker whenever it came to situations like that.

Katarina ~ That name had been stained upon the young Gryffindor for far too long. And just when she had figured she forgot about her once lover, she shows up, and kissed her right in the middle of the hall for all to see. That sparked something within Sora that made her think --- She was still under that girls trance.

The thought nearly brought tears to the girls eyes, and she had no idea as to why she couldn’t just forget and move on. But there she was, the girl she once loved in the picture again. She was sad --- And thoughts about her not being good enough flooded her mind and caused her chest to hurt.

Maybe she should just disappear like Kat did.

Maybe she should just hide herself.

Maybe she should just go back to Japan.

No.

Sora sighed softly, eyes slightly glazed over and her vision becoming blurry and mind not all there ( secretly thanking the room of requirement for the seclusion ) --- She wasn’t the best whenever it came to her feelings but she knew what pain was. Pain was not being able to have Katarina in her arms all night. Pain was not being able to kiss the girl she loved. Pain was seeing her and not being able to be right there, holding her hand. Pain was their last night together --- Finding hair that wasn’t hers in her bed. Pain was being told that she didn’t have her love anymore. Or was there something simply keeping her back? Fear? Fear of being turned down and told that she was a mistake. Sora silently watched from afar once she found out the girl was back again --- Making sure she was okay and that nobody hurt her, because if they did she would secretly hex them and carry on with her day as if nothing had happened.

Tomorrow I will do it.

Tomorrow she has to know that I still love her and need her to breath.
