Tao used to work part time to fund for himself to learn music and dance in Hong Kong and Taiwan.While chasing after his dream, he supported himself, not relying on anyone.Tao used to work part time to earn money to buy presents for his grandmother and parents. As he didnât want the elder to feel burden or be distressed,the price of the presents were in the lower range.Taoâs character, like what he said,is perseverance.
Due to this, and a photo of him eating a popsicle pre-debut,Tao was given an image of being poor before, it was so bad that there was even rumor that he had to busk for a living. As HL(澡澪,Taoâs stans) wasnât well aware of how the fandom works,many fans were brainwashed into thinking that those rumors were true, some HLs even believed those rumors.

From these, we know that Tao indeed came from a decent family.From pre-debut till now,Tao has never treat himself unfairly on food and clothes. He also has his own opinions and preference on brands, actually the reason why overseas fans like teasing Tao with Gucci was because they knew Tao came from a rich family.
Moving on to how much love Tao received from his family.
They have always let Tao chase after his dream, of course they left a backup route for him. Iâm sure everyone know,Tao graduated from éĺ˛ĺ¸ĺ¤äşćĺĄĺŚć Ą(Idk the eng name >_<). Even if he doesnât debut as an idol, Tao would still have a decent job, and the salary wouldnât be low.
Many wonder if Taoâs family was really that rich, then why didnât they come out and clarify when Tao debuted. Firstly, for them to allow Tao go to Hong Kong and Taiwan to study music and let him work to earn money for himself, this shows that his parents supports Tao but donât pamper him, they let Tao go out and see and figure how to work in society.
So when he debuted, if Tao needs his parents to clarify such little things like these, then Tao might as well not debut as an idol. Of course, mothers will always worry for their children,so thereâs rumors now that during that period of time, Taoâs mum had already prepared a sum of money to bail Tao out of the contract.
Morever,Taoâs current social circle (his friends etc) are obviously from well-off families and ambitious, none are obsessed with money or social status. Instead they are all either students from elite schools, investors or business personals.So like what we have talked about just now,Taoâs innonce and optimism are actually partly due to his family background, his surroundings.
In conclusion:
Tao comes from a well-off family, his friends are also those that look up and forward in life, without those with lots of complications or obsessed with fame and wealth.You can know much about someone just by looking at who he/she hangs out with as the same types of person usually hangs out with one another.
However, whatever Tao has gained are from his own efforts.His persistence in music and dreams is amazing. Like what he had said, even if his throat bleeds or his feet is filled with wounds and pus, he wonât stop.
Truth shows that, no matter if heâs having a fever, hurts his leg, waist or even getting kicked at his chest by stunts actors thatâs performing with him so hard that he fell, he had never stopped before. Even when heâs supporting himself with crutches, he walks through the airport. Frontlines (C-fans who were there is what they mean by frontlines) said that when his chest was still hurt, he still performed on stage regardless immediately.
Thereâs a lot of unique Tao stans, like how thereâs a lot of unique traits in Tao. A well-off family, yet doesnât rely on his parents, insisting on reaching his goal on his own, step by step. Even if this route is filled with darkness and storms, he still faces it, proving rumors false using his own abilities.
