History: Naomi’s early life was a rather quiet, lonely one.
While born to loving parents, one couldn’t deny that they were busy ones. Always on the move, always staying late at work: Naomi was well taken care of, but things... well, it was lonely, to say the least. Having very few friends or extended family didn’t help either.
Eventually, Naomi received a pet cat. Mei would often serve as her only companion during these lonely days, but the young girl misinterpreted the situation, as children often do. Believing the cat was responsible for her parent’s absence, assuming they believed she’d be happy as long as Mei was around, in her anger she hurt the cat: and she ran away.
Realizing what she had done, she tried to find the cat, but ultimately gave up: and now that empty house was spent completely alone. On a plus side, her parents did start spending more time at home...
Not too long after, Naomi and Natsumi would get to witness Naoyuki’s death in a car accident, right outside their home. Life changed, very quickly for the family shortly after, after a brief bout with poverty with next to no support: even the funeral mostly consisted of just a few work friends. While the girl had cried her eyes out in the day before, Naomi didn’t shed a tear at the funeral.
Eventually, she declared to her mother that she would be “The kind of person who never cried, ever.”
Naomi chose to respond to her issues surrounding being alone and abandonment by becoming extremely abrasive and aggressive: keep everyone at a distance at all times before they could leave. While not a bully, the young Naomi did grow a reputation as an unpleasant child by her peers: which she preferred. A nice quiet life by herself, that’s what Naomi had strive for.
A few years later though, a girl named Seiko Shinohara wouldn’t be pushed away so easily. Eventually finding a kinship in the other girl as a result of their similar parental situations. Naomi would open up a bit more... but she still harbored a very abrasive, aggressive, and often bossy attitude.
Now, the girl is in highschool, living a normal life with normal friends. What could possibly happen to change all that...?
