This lovely thing has had a meal and a shed since arriving a couple weeks ago, so I figured I’d get him a proper photo shoot! You can really see how he got his name in the third pict - got scars on his nose, above his left eye, and a big ‘un running horizontal along his jaw.

Written in the Bones. New comic, written by Christopher M. Jones & illustrated by Carey Pietsch.
I’m hoping to have printed copies of this at MOCCA, ABPCC, and TCAF this spring, and SPX in the fall! More info to come.
Me and Carey worked really hard on this comic; if you got something from it I’d love for you to reblog it, and maybe even buy a copy from Carey when she’s in town or even if she’s not. Thanks so much for reading.
I’ve read this before, but each time I come back to it, it touches me differently.
It’s such an unfamiliar and yet intimately familiar way of vocalising grief. This entire comic is gold.

the most painful social interactions are when you miscalculate someone’s meme literacy and reference something and the person/group doesn’t get it and u have to half-heartedly explain it knowing FULL well it’s 0% funny if people don’t have the full convoluted context of the joke and u feel the flames of hell start to lick at ur feet as they all give u a pity laugh
I hate when teachers leave a ’?’ when they grade my work. Like mate I dont know whats going on either.
Asperatus Clouds are so rare that they were only classified as of 2009. We know little about them other than the fact that they look mesmerizing.
