It's a game to ID Imogen/Laudna fics based on a piece of art and a couple hints. I (@rachandroll) did a few guess-the-fic illustrations a few years ago and it was a lot of fun, both as a way to get myself drawing more and as a way of showing appreciation for our fic writers. I've always wanted to do more of them! This is a way to do it and actually gamify it a little bit, if crudely. I've given myself the rule that I'm not allowed to make clean, polished art to keep myself moving quick, and I intend to have a quiz every 2 weeks for at least a year. We'll see how it goes!

If I don't know the fic, is it cheating to use the hints to search for it?
No, search away! If you don't already know the fic, I want you to find it! This is less about having encyclopedic knowledge than about appreciating the fics.
How do I earn bonus points?
If you leave a new comment on any fic that has ever been part of the quiz (including the ones I did originally) and submit a screenshot of that comment, you get extra points! A full list of eligible fic can be found here. You can also get points by submitting art for the quiz.
Scoring works as follows:
1 point: A sentence saying something you liked about the fic
2 points: A paragraph long comment
3 points: A comment even longer than that!
10 points: Draw art for a fic and submit it for the quiz
If a particular fic is multichapter, you can leave a comment on each chapter and get points for each comment. Unlike the quiz points, these points I'll need to add manually, so they won't show up right away, but you can either submit your screenshots via the google form (unfortunately requires login) or via the submit box.
Where's the leaderboard? What do I win?
You can see the current leaderboard here.
At the end of each month, the high scorer gets to choose a fic to be illustrated for the next month's quiz. There is a cooldown period; once you win as high scorer, you can't be the winner for the next month.
Can I draw art for a fic for the quiz?
Absolutely! If you're an artist and you want to draw something for a favorite fic and have it be part of the quiz, you can submit the art here. As mentioned above, you get 10 bonus points for each art submission. A quick rundown of the rules for art submission:
Please include both the fic url and how you want to be credited for the art in the submission
Even if the fic is E rated, please don't submit explicit art. We don't want to get the quiz flagged. E rated fics are ok, though!
If you are a writer/artist, please don't submit art for your own fic. Part of the fun here is the gifting aspect!

There is a world in which people's souls are made manifest, taking the form of a creature who walks the world beside them—these creatures are called dæmon.
Imogen has lived half her life with a dæmon that shows the world her soul is a wild and frightening thing and ever since she started seeing the strange-true images in other’s heads, she’s been thinking they might be right. Laudna’s cursed or evil, if rumours are to be believed. Her dæmon is unsettled, and as unsettling as she is. Maybe he always will be. But maybe the way souls appear is not how they are, Imogen thinks, because she’s never met anyone better than that strange pair.
A chance encounter at the start of the school year takes them across the country and years as they figure out who they are, to themselves and to one another.
