When I entered the office on my first day, I was a bit nervous. I approached the man standing nearby and requested him to direct me to the conference hall. I went in the way told by him and was waiting with other mates in the hall. The manager came in after a few minutes and introduced our team leader. To my surprise, the one who showed me the way to the hall was my team leader. As the manager left the room, the team leaders explained us about the work. Ours is a team of five with three girls and two boys. From day one, our team leader Arjun was friendly and helped us in all sorts of confusion. Days passed and we found ourselves comfortable in the working environment. During the break, I took coffee from the counter and while heading to my friends, I heard someone calling me. It was Arjun. He told me that he wants to talk to me and we sat alone. After 2 minutes of silence, I asked him for what he called me. Are you the same Anjali who studied in CMS Vidhya mandir? he questioned. I replied, Yes. I did my primary schooling there and why are you asking about that now. Can’t you recognize me? he asked. I was wondering who he was and he told that he too studied with me in the same school. Once after remembering those days, I said, so you are the one to whom I fought for not giving my English notes then. He said yes and laughed. I too giggled for still keeping those days in memory. And then, our friendship reconciled on 10th June.
