& you’re a superhero? That’s so cool!! We have a lot of them around here (but only like one in my city LOL). I haven’t heard of the Umbrella Academy, though, is it like a school or is it just you guys??? Spaceboy is a fun name. It’s not very cool though….

Uh, both, I guess? It was just the seven of us, with Father pulling the strings, but our upbringing was a lot like what I imagine a 24/7/365 boarding school would be like. It’s only used nowadays to refer to our collective team, since any actual ‘Academy’ that there might have been has been long out of session.

It was because I was the first boy in space. A little on-the-nose, but the rest of my siblings’ aliases have to do with their powers, and I have no idea what mine would be if that were the case. Strong Boy? The Muscle? Those sound worse, in my opinion.

I’ve never heard of the Titans Academy though, sounds interesting.

Yeah, it’s kind of weird when you’re first trying it out. You get the hang of it pretty fast though! Just make dumb posts and reply to people and send people images you think they’d like. At least that’s what I do. :^P

What do you do when you aren’t trying to understand tumblr? You have a day job?

My brother bullied me to join this site and then I eventually caved. Unfortunately for him, that backfired, because now I can get a heads-up on his next plot to fuck himself up beyond recognition and to pull chaotic and annoying pranks on the rest of the family like the impulsive trainwreck he is. It’s fun so far though, aside from keeping said brother in check.

We had a very strict upbringing, and though I can’t speak for the others, I at least feel that I’ve become a stronger individual because of that.

I guess I can understand how jokes like that can seem harsh from an outside perspective, but rest assured, insults are just part of our regular conversations as a family. I have no doubt that both of them would come up with something equally scathing, and then we’d all continue with our day.

Guess I’ll have to see if I can find it, then. Or someone else’s. I think at least Klaus and Allison also had a copy, but those probably got destroyed along with the house.

I don’t really understand people making fun of “edgy,” especially as teenagers. Expression is good, and through music and a creative outlet should always be encouraged more. If you find it, would it be okay to get to hear it?

Though I don’t know about the.. “foreshadowing” stuff, I am going to make assumptions that is a sore topic point and not ask about it.

They would also make fun of their past selves for being edgy. Though it was kind of sad that the one form of self-expression they had at the time was put to a stop because Father considered it a distraction. Vanya was sent away shortly after and Diego never really brought it up again, so I can only imagine that it went poorly.

I would be totally fine with you listening to it. They, however, might not be. I wouldn’t be surprised if they tried hunting down every last copy themselves just to destroy them all.

No, they were just being edgy teenagers with their edgy teenager music. Their first (and only) album was titled ‘I Don’t Wanna Kill the President,’ which, though edgy as hell, was some incredibly specific, ironic, and tragic foreshadowing for what was to come in our future. Unfortunately I lost my copy of it, but trust me, it was... something.

Metaphorically. Though Diego and Vanya used to be in a band as teenagers, actually. If I remember correctly, it was our father who forced them to disband. Sad that I never got to see any of their shows, I bet it would’ve been hilarious.
