I so hate this advice.  Why do people even give it out?  A fellow student in one of my AP classes wrote like this!  He actually insulted me after I told him that synonyms don’t always mean the same thing!  Big words a smart person do not make...

So... LIFE UPDATE!

Parent's Weekend was this... weekend!  (not much word choice for that, is there?)  It was great to hang out with my parents, go to my first football game, and generally get up to shenanigans.

In other news, college is great!  I'm super busy, but that's more due to my incredibly stupid and brilliant idea to take a 400 level course along with four other more normal courses.  However, the course does have me down in Colonial Williamsburg a lot, which mitigates any terror the course load gives me.

I also enjoy hanging out with the three clubs I'm part of, Swing Dancing, English Country Dancing, and 18th century reenacting.  Of course, I have fun with friends, including my two best friends here, Tessa (Roomie!) and Myriam (adopted roomie!)!  I also enjoy dropping in on the Sci-Fi Club and Nerf Club whenever I can!

So... List time!

Current TV obsession: The Man in the High Castle (SERIOUSLY, WATCH IT!)  

Current song of my life: Centuries - Fallout Boy

Current movie kick: Rogue One (and will be until I see it!)

Current book: All my schoolbooks!  They are seriously awesome books...  I always enjoy reading them!

Current food obsession: The Thai Chicken Curry at Cosi and lots and lots of Earl Grey Tea (but when has that not been my obsession?)

Current hymn that will not get out of my head: A Mighty Fortress is My God

Current Clothing/hair/makeup obsession: Using my wardrobe to get a late 50s/early 60s look, due my obsession with The Man in the High Castle (especially Juliana Crain!)

Random things I like: Sleep, teddy bear, rules of bombing civilians, Realism (International Relations), muskets, backward sweaters, food in general, the cool weather, Rey, Obergruppenfuhrer Smith (Bad guy, but still good guy?... JUST WATCH THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE!), Juliana Crain, the election, free transportation, free food, soccer, Star Wars, and dancing like no one's watching.
