Update June 2020

I’m still around. Ish.  I’m not updating this as religiously as I was- it was taking up too much time and mental space for me, and ended up being a pretty bad drain on my mental health.

I’ll pop in every now and then to correspond with some old friends and maybe check out my side blogs, but I hate the new censorship combined with the lack of change on the huge problems with this site, as well as a LOT of extremely toxic people that I came in contact with since last I was regularly active.

The bluntness of this post is because I’m fed up with what’s going on around me, both in the world at large and personally, as well as my lack being able to be in safe spaces where I can be myself, and surround myself with others of my community.  David Bowie has meant a lot to me, and will continue to do so.  My outlets are just changing.

for other people who are being affected hard by the new, terrible color palette staff thought would be “more accessible”, i highly recommend downloading a chrome extension called dark reader. it can either have a “dark” mode which will invert and change colors, or a “light” mode where you can leave the colors the same but put down the contrast.
