Have you ever noticed how similar @taylorswift album 1989 and Selena Gomez’s album Revival are all about them finding themselves?

Throughout both albums they are growing as people. Selena is getting over her relationship with Justin and figuring out who she is and realizing she doesn’t need guys to be happy.

Taylor is realizing that the media can’t tear her down. She’s realizing that being herself is the best option and those that reject her for that aren’t worth her time.

Both of these albums are about two young, strong women getting over their past and discovering who they are. They both got through what they had been through. Taylor is fighting against the media and creating this new version of Taylor Swift. Selena is discovering that her friends are all she needs and she doesn’t need a boy.

Both evolved into strong, confident, beautiful, young women. Now both Taylor and Selena are doing amazing in the music industry and have a great group of friends. Those couple years they struggled through together and both came out the other end as 2 amazing women.
