think of something fun you wanna draw

As an artist, you hold a certain power.

Namely the ability to put a mental image onto a viewable medium.

Use it for good, use it for evil, make the dumbest, cringiest shitposts known to man or make the sickest piece of art you can possibly imagine - the point is that you have fun making it :3

I mostly do traditional but I wanna show some of my digital art I did on ibis since I've been experimenting and improving!

This is one of my characters, her name is Marina! She's a toramimi and originally a side character that I've gotten obsessed with. I'll probably write and post more about my characters sometime, but for now I'll try to keep this short.

Second image is different because I did use a base for the proportions and stuff, I'm just too proud of the rendering and colors that I wanna show it here if that's okay 🥹

Statue of Hatshepsut

A life-sized granite statue of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut. The statue depicts her in a seated pose, wearing the nemes headdress and kilt, traditional attire for Egyptian kings, but also includes feminine titles and epithets.

Hatshepsut is portrayed as a king, wearing the royal nemes headdress and kilt, but with feminine attributes in the inscriptions.

While the statue features the throne name Ma'at-Ka-Re, Hatshepsut's feminine titles, "Lady of the Two Lands" and "Bodily Daughter of Re," are also inscribed.

The statue reflects Hatshepsut's careful balance between her identity as a woman and her role as a ruler, as she adopted royal titles and attire while maintaining feminine distinctions.

New Kingdom, mid-18th Dynasty, joint reign of Hatshepsut and Thutmose III, ca. 1479-1458 BC.

STARTER LORE:

two young lords with pretty much zero claim to their respective thrones and nothing to lose (but their honor) are sent abroad to the heartlands, where many nobles pursue higher education and hone their battle prowess.

unfortunately, the differing customs of the mountain rabbitfolk and the coastal catfolk cause some considerable confusion between luoran and marius. what starts as a simple cultural misunderstanding quickly spirals out of control into the masculinity fueled rivalry(?) of the century...
