i like that pleasantville, the best movie ever, is a pretty bad 90s teen comedy for the first 15 minutes or so. it unironically adds to it for me

#i think there's an intentionality to them feeling like poorly realized Characters in the real world too #i especially like the juxtaposition of how the real mom comes off as this kind of shitty archetype of a divorced mom #and then when he comes back at the end shes now this very layered human person

the doctor who episode that's both about an endless hotel that was built to house an ancient god and the way the main character's arrogant nature harms the people around him being titled "The God Complex" is maybe the most jealous i've been of a title ever. i should have thought of that.

Obsession being Roald Dahl coded is incredible. Especially the part where she makes him that sandwich.

I think Backrooms 2026 is Dahl coded as well, just without the lore stuff at the end.

the sandwich part in obsession feels like the exact sort of horrible thing he would toss in and then casually mention in the footnotes that that it was pulled directly from a local newspaper article

a lot of modern horror feels extremely roald dahl coded to me for some reason

hi! I love your art style! would you ever make a print available for something like your ms paint dragons or the dragon tea kettles?

a few people have asked me this but I don't personally feel super comfortable selling prints/stickers/etc of those particular drawings since I sell the character designs to people

People, to a certain degree, are inherently violent. And since opportunities to commit physical violence freely have steadily decreased, they will turn to other avenues.

Online platforms encourage this activity, YouTube and Twitter being the biggest examples. We can see this through “drama” and “lolcow” content being promoted and spread across many feeds.
