{I was hesitant to share all things considered but maybe this could inspire some...} 8 months, 22 days, 3 hours! 8 months, 22 days, 3 hours was how long I lived in my car. It was a Nissan Altima that I bought for 4 payments of $1800 total. I called it push to start because, I’ll have to put my key in the ignition, put it in neutral then push it and run back in it to start. The doors didn’t lock. The windows didn’t roll down.

After months of living from couch to couch to hostels to shelters.. I decided, living out of a car was much safer. So, I bought a car, solely to have a home. I lost most of my friends during this time. Everyone told me LA is not going to work out...

However, I don’t know why, but I refused to give up. It was faith mixed with supreme confidence and a whole lot of insanity but I got through the winter that year living inside a car. Then spring, then summer....

I told myself in the next few years, I’ll buy my dream car which has and always been a Range Rover. I didn’t think it’ll happen this quickly. However when I got in a car accident in December, I totaled my car. I took it as a sign to just go for it.

I say all this to say, if you want something, go for it. This is my brand new baby and I named her “princess Riri”.
