I’m not someone who started with a “healthy person” baseline before getting Covid. My life was filled with things I couldn’t or struggled greatly to do. Pain and symptoms and limitations already ruled my life. And now I’m one of the ones who will be suffering indefinitely because of long covid. I can hardly walk without getting breathless and blue. What used to consist or my flare up normal is now my baseline.

And I’m so sick of acting compassionate to people complaining that wearing a mask or social distancing is ruining their holiday, because covid has ruined my physical and mental health indefinitely and there may never be a recovery to normal for me, and so many people like me. So no. I actually don’t care about your international holiday or trip to the beach being ruined, I care about my health and so many others health. And yet I’m selfish for wanting you to wear a mask?
