i just gotta say this:
I feel like a lot of people forget that there is a difference: imitation and inspiration are not the same. Imitation is not flattering, at all.
Being inspired to write a muse from the same fandom as a friend or being inspired by a friend to create a muse of the same species, etc? Or hell, to be inspired by something someone you follow does? Totally cool, even more-so if you contact said friend or person to make sure they won’t be bothered or maybe to plot out some epic ideas. But to simply take their shit from theme elements to formatting/images/styling, etc? Hell, jacking the entire theme or writing aspect — I’ve seen it happen, it’s happened to me… That’s not right, it’s not okay and it adds to the toxicity of the community.
That is imitation, replication, etc — whatever you would wish to call it.
It’s stealing creativity from another person.
It’s demeaning to the hard work and effort people put into making a blog, writing a character and being passionate about that much.
Say whatever you will about the canon muse aspect of this issue, but it is no different because every blog for a fandom or canon muses is different. Every portrayal. Every AU. Everything that writer chooses for that muse will be different from another who writes the same muse and every single writer of that muse? Wonderful in their own way and deserving of credit and merit for what they’ve chose to do. This is straying a little, but stop comparing one another and making it a competition because that also adds to the toxicity in the community.
The roleplay community is meant to be fun, it’s meant to be an escape from realities that for some might be uncomfortable at best. Please stop ruining it. It is in no one’s right to deem who is worthy of this community, it is not in your right to deem someone unfit for roleplay. Unfollow and move on, don’t steal, don’t send hate, don’t be a dick; it’s really not that difficult.

I'm putting this account on a hiatus until I sort out what I want to do with it whether it'll just be a revamp or reboot -- but I just haven't been feeling stuff over here for awhile. And I feel bad about that... I just don't know where many muses stand in strength and I'm uncertain about way too many storylines and such on here for this to seem anything but a task to be on here.

mini semi hiatus.
I will be out of town, visiting my brother in Vermont, from Saturday morning to sometime Wednesday evening ( 7/26 to 7/30 ) — I will have an internet connection at my disposal, I just do not know how active I will be able to be during that time frame. So, as a result?

Sorry for my absence on this account...
I've been trying to sort out what characters on here to keep and ones to phase out... I've taken out the Hogwarts verse, as I don't feel things will work out within that -- I'm keeping the other two verses for now, but I may drop the Marvel one as I'm still not positive where to go with that. I just haven't quite felt right on this account for awhile and my muses are only really talking to me for specific threads anymore...

update : retired muses.
Alright, I've now made some decisions on which muses to retire and of course I still have some things to edit like some headcanons and such. But here's the run down of who got retired and all that jazz. There were some muses moved from the side characters page for now, possibly permanently:
Retired: Genelia Monroe + Sofia Martinez
Moved to mains: Noah Thomas + Ellis Grant
I hope to use them more often as a result, but I am still -- while I sort things out and how I feel as a whole? Going to probably keep this a little more selective than usual, also keep on the semi-hiatus and be on hellnite a little more often. Oh, and Anushka is staying on for now.
