Hello! I’m Speedy and welcome to my art blog! This is basically where I post my drawings and doodles! ​

Introduction:

Like I mentioned above I go by the name Speedy, my pronouns are she//her and I am Ace/Aro! I am a LEGO collector with a focus on Ninjago! I am also interested in other LEGO theme’s such as Dreamzzz, Hidden Side, Monster Fighters, Friends and Elves!!! I love to draw and this is where I share that passion! I focus on character design and creation while also starting to delve into background illustration. I’m a bit shy and socially awkward but feel free to message me or send me an ask!

Ninjago Shattered is a personal project I have been working on. It is a fanseason that serves as the “focus season” for my Ninjago oc, Rain Valentine. I post concepts and designs for it from time to time but I am also attempting to write it into a fanfiction! The fanfiction is unavailable to the public at this time. You can find Shattered content under its tag #ninjago shattered or under my Toyhouse pages where I info dump about my ocs!

I just wanted to let you know that I love your art so much, especially your Lloyd art! Whenever your art pops up on my dash, my jaw drops at the level of details, and I end up smiling like an idiot lol

I also love your OC Rain! I don’t know tons about her story other than her relationship with Lloyd, but I love her design and powers. She was definitely one of the things that inspired me to flesh out my own OC and to not be shy about shipping her with Lloyd

That makes me happy. I love Rain alot and I've been wanting to make more Rain content bc I haven't been lately. I definitely have some ideas though! She's my beloved daughter and it makes me happy to see other people enjoy her or get inspired by her. I'm more than happy to talk more about her story if you (or anyone) wants me too.

Feelings on cmf Lloyd? (I recently got him and I love him! YEEES DARK GREEN FOR LLOYD! YEEEES! It's like a custom version I made forever ago, where I gave him the cmf centaur torso and some neat, dark green legs from the pick a minifig station)!

Asdfghjkl actually I love him quite a lot, actual stunning minifigure. I'm a big fan of most of series 29!

I want to see how he looks with the new side scabbard that comes in the new legends sets. I think that could be cool...

He's on my list of drawings I want to make. I have a vision tm but I have to find the time. Ppl who follow me on Instagram know I've been working on a big Lloyd illustration but CMF Lloyd didn't make the cut in the end for that, he was in the preliminary art stage but I changed him to Oni Lloyd instead. I do want to draw him separately though.

I also have Rain art ideas, and I wanna make more custom minifigures. I'm going on vacation soon so I don't know when I'll get around to anything haha

Hey I've gotten more than a few of these recently and I've got to set a boundary.

I know the intentions are well but please don't send me asks to tell me someone is reposting/stealing my work. It's incredibly discouraging and further damages my desire to make and share my fanart.

it further sucks bc these are the only messages I get on tumblr now, and while I appreciate the thought behind it, all it's been doing is further damaging my mental health :(

Hi! I had a thought! What if you painted the Lego Friends Paisley hairpiece in silver and gave it to rain? I think that would look really good on her! (Of course the hairpiece she has now is also great, but like as an alternative i think it'd look great!)

we actually considered this when that part was first revealed. I ultimately think the Vidiyo hair works best for her (as of now anyway). I'm always looking at custom parts that could potentially be better. There's one from Firestar Toys I really like but I can't justify the shipping/tarrif costs :(

Hello! I’ve been following you and your work for a long time. Apologies for the question, but how did you make the custom LEGO minifigure of Rain?

My newest version of Rain is one I'm making completely on my own! The other two Rain's I made through an outsourced printer. However, I've recently bought a UV Printer that I've been messing around with and im working on my Rain prototype! I made her vectors in Affinity Designer and then printed the designs directly onto the lego parts using the printer.

I'm currently working on her skirt. I'm hoping to use our Cricut to cut it out of fabric and then UV print the design directly onto it.

she's not perfect but I'm really happy how she's turning out so far!

I have no idea what an MCTV is but no, I don't allow anyone to use my custom designs for any purpose. The Shattered Suits are for Shattered exclusively. Sorry!
