@swolizard as much as i love some old rnb i’m glad niggas stopped doing that shit as a whole. like i don’t mind the odd singer doing it because there’s an audience for everything but i don’t think it should be like the standard. but then again, its a pretty limited spectrum of things to sing about and angles to approach said matters if you’re an rnb singer with, an assumed, mostly/majority women fanbase, so i get it.
me personally, i think niggas should find other things to occupy themselves with other than women, and i love these hoes (no offense). but yeah man, this dependency on approval from women got dudes out here doing the most. especially on the internet. from taking on personalities that differ wildly from who they are as a means to obtain sexual access, to white knighting, to holding women as these mystical infallible beings, to accepting everything women say without questioning or challenging etc. i mean how many times you log online and see folks who aren’t men telling men how to be men and its all good? (read them “real men” posts). I think niggas should listen and correct their behavior and strive to be great and to not harm others, but i also think that overall not so much time and energy should be spent on these relentless romantic pursuits (this is all in a romantic context). its a whole world out here b.
