I was around 11 years old when my eldest brother showed me a music video that would change my life.
Six dudes. Their sounds, so powerful. The singer begins to scream. I was so amazed of his voice! Until that moment, I had never heard anyone like him!
Until that day, music didn’t mean so much to me… The song, Given Up, changed that, Linkin Park changed me.
I loved every single one of their albums. I know all of their songs. I remember practicing Mike’s parts so many times! Now I can’t get those words out of my head anymore!
With time came some changes. I never favored Living Things, but The Hunting Party had some gems! Then came One More Light… For the first time, their sounds didn’t reach out to me. But I still said it… “I love Linkin Park”.
Since a few years ago, I grew closer to other bands and musicians that caught my attention. Music turned into something indispensable for me. Songs inspire me everyday… Not only into making art, but into writing stories. LP songs were the first ones that sparked ideas in my mind!
I was never able to go see them live, for any reason. I always knew that the possibility of meeting them face-to-face was practically impossible for me, but I still dreamed of the day that I could tell them how much I love them, how much I love their work, how much they inspire me, and how much of a huge crush I had on Chester… And maybe freak them out a little bit in the process, why not?

Your children, your love, your friends, your close ones… your fans. So many, each and every single one of them loved you to the core, cared about you, thought of you… And we still couldn’t grab your hand just in time to prevent you from falling.
I don’t know what will happen next. No matter what, I’ll be there, supporting Rob, Mike, Dave, Joe and Brad, sending them my love, and wishing the best for his beautiful family.
