Guys....look I would absolutely love to meet them. I want that just as much as the next fantom but...at what point is meeting your fav more important than their safety??? This wasn’t a run in on the street, this is his APARTMENT where he LIVES ALONE. it just registered that the last time Luke saw his parents when he ran out, they were in their late 30s-40s. Then he dies, is back on earth and goes to see them...only to see how much they’ve aged. Alex confidently and HAPPILY dancing along to All Eyes On Me with the dirty candy girls while wearing a Bowie shirt as his friends hype him up is a TV masterpiece. A kid born in the late 70s growing up during the AIDS epidemic being able to fully and truthfully be himself without any shame is so poetic. I just realized in episode 5 when the boys are amazed by Calebs performance Willie says “you guys should come back when he shows one of his movies. I mean for Titanic, he literally floods the entire place.” And the guys just smile and nod because....they don’t know what titanic is.

The movie came out in 1997.

No I know it happened in 1912 lmao 😭 but they probably only heard about it in school and brushed it over, my mom said up until the movie, titanic wasn’t a major history lesson so I feel like they probably still didn’t know much about what the heck willie was talking
