Lavendermoon, but humanized!
“It's like you're cast under a spell,
I've placed upon you.”
Lavendermoon, the deputy of Squall's End.
If Cashewbelly is the queen, then Lavendermoon is her darling *prince*. Her right hand man, her *son*. Lavendermoon carries himself with such decorum, clan mates have forgotten he was once a bratty rogue.
Despite the social aspect to life in Squall's End, many cats will tell you they don't know Lavendermoon all that well. They agree he is a skilled tomcat, who is beyond deserving of his rank. The tales of his heroics have spread wide, but that doesn't stop the lingering uncertainty that comes when you ask around.
He never misses patrol calls, he works his squadron like dogs, he's stern (but fair) with apprentices, he's defensive of his home.. he's almost *too* in sync with his role.
Cats note that it's like he was *born* to be deputy. From the moment he stepped up to Cashewbelly, everyone knew that he was exactly where he belonged.
And, perhaps, he's too comfortable *asserting* that authority. His ambition, his *pride*, may very well be his fatal flaw.
“One unlike you've ever been before.
Tell me, am I to blame?”
“We are all brought forth out of darkness.
Into this world, through blood and through pain.”
Cashewbelly, the leader of Squall's End.
Cashewbelly rules with an air of regality surrounding her. She stands out to any cat looking into Squall's End for her deep voice, her calm demeanor, and her powerful negotiations.
Speaking to Cashewbelly has a tendency to make cats feel *lesser* than. She's.. just wonderful. Intelligent, charismatic, meticulous. She is domineering in her conversations, often steering cats towards the conclusion she *wants* them to come to. A masterful storyteller.
Her criticisms cut deep -- but they feel warranted, I mean, when has she *ever* been wrong?
If she's calling you out, then she *noticed* you, she saw that you had potential! She's *helping* you. You have no reason to turn against her, or act like you're better.
She can't stand a nitpicking fox-heart, learn to shut your mouth and listen.
Cats outside of Squall's end fear her, understanding all too well how fierce she is in battle. Cats *in* the clan want to be on her good side, to be at her heel.
“And deep in our bones, the old songs are waking.
So sing them with voices of thunder and rain.”
Still young and dumb.
Saltcrest, only a moon older than his cross-clan pal, still can't let go of his favorite leaf-snake.
Scorpionpaw is *usually* sweet, this time around he's decided he's going to get Saltcrest.
A Sunny Day.
Cashewbelly, the leader of Squall's End, snuffs out the most difficult apprentice in the clan.
Little Saltpaw can only pray to the stars that he will be spared for his most recent transgression.
