I'm going to apply to work in the Experimental Lakes Area and acquire some paid field and research experience in limnology. I like that there is more nonprofit and true conservation work in limnology than there is in forestry atm where I live; I don't want to work in greenwashing/big industry in a country that is burning the world down for profit.

I feel like limnology experience and working with whole ecosystem experiments will make me a better holistic candidate for the type of forestry and ecology jobs that actually interest me.

My relationship is so lonely and unfulfilling. I feel a dull ache most days, and can’t seem to find the connection, belonging, or love that I need.

I have decided to do a double major / double honours degree and bury myself in a masochistic course load. Hope to make friends and make more time for art. I feel like things will be over between us before the year is over. I need to fill my life with something big enough to hold its own shape before that happens.
