With all the loud explosions, crackles and pops it was almost hard to hear anything out here! The noise makers were blaring and people were cheering all around. But once voice yelled the loudest that got Rie’sefu’s attention. “‘Eeeyy! Yaun! ‘appeh new yeahrs mon!!” He ran over to hold out his hand. “‘igh three!” He would slap his hand against Yuans for a high three as he soon laughed out. “Et be tha’ new yeaarr!” He lifted his noise maker to blow air through it and that blaring sound would fill the air along with many others.

“Rie’sefu!” The fireworks were a beautiful sight, as they usually were, but they didn’t entirely tear Yuan’s attention away from his friend. The greeting that he got was enough to draw a warm chuckle from the troll, him slapping his palm against the other’s. “So it is. Another year of possibilities, hn?” His ears pinned back against all the noise, eyes staring out at the exploding balls of colorful fire.

“New year of change and happiness, hopefully....”

✣ bringing them food- Yuan?

If something made Mûr suspicious it was people offering him food. Not that he ever looked very friendly towards people in general, his face turned reserved and rather angry when the other troll talked to him, offering him something he had absolutely no clue what it was.

“…do I look like I’m starving or something?” he asked coldly, eyeing the offered food like it could possibly jump on him somehow. It took a moment he realized the person offering it looked vaguely familiar. Rogue tilt his head, confused and very suspicious.

“…………..have we met?” he asked quietly, ears lowering. If he had looked unfriendly moment earlier, now he looked cautious and much angrier, trying to figure out if this was some of his old ‘friends’ he had every reason to be afraid of.

“Ah…” Yuan’s ears dipped and he did his best to look submissive to the grumpier troll, a small smile on his face.He didn’t take the food away, hoping that the rogue might reconsider taking some of the shrimp fried rice he’d made. He was so skinny, afterall! “No, you don’t look like you are starving, I just thought I might share….ah, we have met before. I suppose I’ve changed in appearance a bit. I’m Yuanshi. Yuan….we met in…Mulgore once. I believe you were doing some wood carving back then, yes?” He was trying to seem as friendly and harmless as possible, hoping that Mur would recognize him after that reminder.

“Ah, yes! I was!” Yuanshi looked very delighted that Mur remembered him, a bright smile on his face. “It has been a while, so I don’t blame you for not remembering perfectly. I just remember that you were very...mmn...reserved. To yourself.” He looked to the food in his hand, ear giving a faint twitch before he looked back up. “If you’d rather not take the food, I don’t mind. Some people aren’t comfortable eating from people they don’t know well. I...thought I would offer since it’s just...what I do. How have you been? You look like you’re doing better from when we last met.”

For a while, I went on a slight Pandaren binge on Twitter with my motivational daily sketches.  I’m not actually that good when it comes to staying on model, and well, as with anything vaguely bear-shaped, the attention one garners tends to go one of two ways… so it came to an end.  That and I ran out of characters and ideas.  Anyway, thought I’d better stick something up here since I’ve not been really in a drawing mood the last few days.

“That it is! Goodness, it has been a while! How are you? Sit, sit, I can make some tea.” The monk seems really happy, even purring a little.

Yuanshi’s warm welcome had Fah’kiri smiling back at him. The man was as nosy as one could be sometimes, but he had a good heart and he had always done what he thought was best. In fact, she couldn’t seem to recall him being malicious to anyone at all.

She sighed lightly, running a hand through her plume of hair. “I don’t know how long I’m staying yet. I came back because a friend who was supposedly dead came back. Then I came back here and… I don’t really know. I think I’m still drifting.”

“I see....” The troll nodded slowly, hands still working with the tea. “You have missed quite a bit....I would imagine it is quite overwhelming. But should you decide to stay, I’m absolutely sure that Ret’rali would be delighted to see you.” He gave a nod, pouring a small cup for Fah’kiri. Green tea from Pandaria. “Who is this person, if you do not mind me asking?”

5 Little-Known Facts

((I was tagged by thedovahcat​ a MONTH AGO HOW THE HELL DO I TRACK TAGS ON THIS STUPID BROKEN WEBSITE :WJOEFJWEOHGI *bangs head on table*))

1) Yuan has 2 sleeping positions: curled up in a ball and splayed out like a dead carcass. The former of the two is usually an indication of some form of discomfort or distress, while the latter is a completely relaxed and comfortable purrito.

2) Due to a ridiculously high metabolism, Yuan has a very hard time gaining weight. Muscle isn’t a problem due to his father’s genes, but the troll could practically eat his weight in rice just to keep from looking like Reverend.

3) He doesn’t sleep in a bed, he sleeps in a nest. He doesn’t understand why exactly, but his sleeping space always ends up a giant pile of pillows that he hides in somewhere. At least he’s comfortable.

4) Yuanshi is an absolute neatfreak and loves routine. Every morning he wakes up before dawn to clean, stretch, meditate, practice combat, wake the family up, and cook breakfast. 

5) Yuan, if he has the pleasure of sleeping with one of his mates, like to nibble and suck on things in his sleep. Ears, shoulders, necks....I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if people woke up with mystery drool and blamed the babies. Shhhh. It’s not every night, though.
