Cody: because the amount of twizzlers i'll get will probably equal a movie ticket.

“Kind of. Not totally weird but...getting weirder by the day. I’m fine.”
Why would eating for pleasure be a bad thing? Chinese isn’t the worst food you could be ordering and it tends to have lots of essential oils, vegetables and they use a fair bit of fish and chicken over beef. I’m still not seeing what’s wrong with a friendly familiar delivery guy?
It’s not. It’s just typically people think it’s really unhealthy if more than half the food you eat is take out. Okay...I see your point. It’s better than living off of like pizza or some really god awful fast food. But still, not as great as it could be. Though, I can’t cook. It just shows that I order from the same place too often. It’s not a totally bad thing I guess, just maybe means I need to go out and get a life rather than order in.

Allie raced out of the convenience store as fast as she possibly could. Cody needed her and her little legs weren’t carrying her fast enough. She turned the corner and ran through the street. As she ran, she tried to wrap her head around what she’d been told. It wasn’t that she was mad at her in any way. She never would be, but more in shock. Cody would make an excellent mother, there was no doubt about that, but it was weird, really weird. They’d grown up together and now they were finally growing up. Allie was going to be there for her with anything her friend needed to. She had to. If she didn’t she’d probably hate herself. Reaching Cody’s door, she grabbed the hidden key, in a location Cody had told her about years ago and opened the door, heading in after replacing the key.
“Codybear! Where you at?” Allie asked, walking through the house. “I’ve got two extra pints of ice cream and one of those jumbo containers of sprinkles, just in case.”
In a way, Cody wanted to cry about everything that was going on. Her mind was spinning and the amount of feelings she was having was so...she needed a release and crying had seemed like a good one. So, until she’d been texting Allie, Cody had been curled in her bed all four dogs surrounding her in tears. Not cry me a river kind of tears, but tears. She was upset and scared and how the hell was this happening to her? How was this all happening to her. The dogs were good comfort though. They were sweet and cuddly and all of them wanted to stay by her side just then. That is, until they heard the door open and all bolted down the stairs. Cody almost went to follow them immediately, but she was so comfortable in her bed she decided against it. She could hear the barking and woofing and bouncing paws jumping on the floor of the house, running around excitedly.
“I’m up in my room!” Cody shouted back, curling against the pillows she had on her bed as she watched Prince trot back in, hopping onto the bed with her. “You can just bring the stuff up here. You know where the bowls and spoons are, yeah?” Cody asked, pressing a kiss to the dalmatians forehead.

If I didn’t leave him, he would have left me. And I really don’t think I could’ve handled that.
