I was having problems with the shipping profiles overcharging on Big Cartel but I've sorted it out now! Unfortunately I deleted the tracked shipping upgrade because I didn't think I would need it anymore, but if you would like tracked shipping DM me and I can sort something out!

I'm not sure if it's just because I've set the shipping profiles up wrong on Big Cartel, but for some reason they're charging two separate lots of postage instead of combining them/charging the larger amount

I don't know why it's doing this 😭 the whole reason I set up the profiles was so I could offer a lower price for flat items like stickers and prints but it looks like I might just have to change it back to how it was

I'm looking into it now, but if you have placed an order I'll refund the extra postage amount because you've definitely been overcharged for it without my knowledge. Sorry about that!

so it looks like there isn't actually a way to use shipping profiles to group items by parcel size without charging two lots of postage, so it looks like i'll be going back to manually inputting postage on each item lol

#unfortunately means i won't be able to charge a smaller amount for flat items like i was hoping #-the only way to do that I think would be let the customer choose the correct amount at checkout #which would not be a good idea #so. thanks for the useless feature big cartel lmao

ok for some reason like 90% of my listings had this problem and I hadn't realised, but I've gone through and sorted them all out

#i think it must have knocked the settings off when i was creating new profiles and deleting old ones
