Holiday Horror Stories: The Thanksgiving Horde

When the person in charge of cooking Thanksgiving dinner starts saying things like this to their family: 

So those terrified people decide to retreat to the only thing open on Thanksgiving morning: your museum. 

and before you even open the line outside looks like this: 

And you’re totally understaffed because 50% of the employees and 100% of your volunteers are off for the holiday.

And you have to hustle all the stragglers out the door when it’s finally time to close for the day.  But, to be fair, that’s no different than any other day. 

Then, only then, can you go home and enjoy a traditional WYWAAM Thanksgiving.

Going through draws and finding: huge animal jaw bone, swords, military jackets, cutlery, and stirrups. It’s like working in the room of requirement that has transformed into a place for forgotten things.
