Yknow im really interested in Doctor's past based on their flashback at the beginning of chapter 5.
It makes me real curious, considering it implies that Doctor didn't particularly have a good childhood before becoming a mindhacker.
(I also wonder if FORMAT really did said these things to them or if it's how Doctor interpreted their own memory idk if I phrased that right sorry if it doesn't make sense-)
Doctor doesn't quite fit in with other kids, they're "lacking social skills, in empathy, in childlike innocence", they seem to already have some problems as a kid (I don't think they have many friends either..). Instead of getting help and guidance, Doctor got-
All the adults telling them they're "a failure", that a child like them "who can't suck up to adults, isn't cute", looks like Doctor had been called a failure in the past for not being what the adults expected them to be (who i believe might be their parents).
Then they won the Kids mindhacking championship and FORMAT came into their life. Handing them the validation they never got.
I think Doctor subconsciously came to see FORMAT as their new "mother". While they grow dependent on the constant praising and doting, they're also aware that FORMAT expects the best from their mindhacking skills. Hence, why Doctor is so afraid of failing her.
Another thing I'd like to bring up is how FORMAT constantly praises them to be the best Mindhacker in history.
Really makes me think if Doctor really is the best Mindhacker there is or if FORMAT is just glazing the hell out of them. I like the first idea more because it boosts my lil ego and bcs that'd make my Doctor so much more insufferable around other Mindhackers.
Based on the xtra from chapter 5, Doctor is additionally brought up to be highly skilled. Which i like to think means they're exceptionally more talented than most, or at least in my head. Feeds their ego.
I hc Doctor having a superior complex.
They have an Award certificate in their room, that is like.. the only thing they're willing to clean. Their full name is on the certificate, but they still forget their own name because they're only focused on the "World's best Mindhacker". Stoopid idiot.
Will feel threatened if another Mindhacker comes close to their skill. They're competitive, so what? They refuse to give away their title.
Doctor is afraid of failing, and they also love winning. Grin wide as hell, is going to get themselves a punch one of these days if they don't stop being insufferable.
While Doctor look miserably deadpanned most of the time, they can't play poker because they can't keep a poker face, they will start grinning uncontrollably when they're winning.

I wonder how Lin Ling will react to the truth about Nice. About all what he has done under Treeman. After Nice's “death” and encounter with Wreck, LL probably began to feel sympathy for him. Now, when Nice came back to life, LL might see him as a victim since the one who willingly jumped off the roof right in front of him couldn't escape the pressure even in the afterlife.
But how will LL feel when he learns that he worked day and night to create a presentable image of someone who caused so much pain? Even that promotional material related to the ruin incident. If only he knew Nice's true role in that event, oh my god.
A sorcerer sneaks up on Arthur and Merlin when they are on a hunt
Sorcerer: "finally i get my revenge!"
Merlin: *positioning himself in front of Arthur*
Arthur: "You idiot! Stay back" he then pulls Merlin back and stands in front of him
Merlin: "Stop trying to be the hero!"
Merlin wrestles his king back
Arthur: "Merlin they want revenge and i doubt you're the target for that!"
Merlin: "Oh so this is what this is about? Your head really is as big as your waist! I have made some enemies too!"
At this point they are basically spinning in a circle while the sorcerer just stands there watching the two most powerful men in albion fight over who has more enemies
