Spop stands are on thin ice, as long as you are not looking for a fight I have no problem with you being here, especially if you are willing to change your mind, although if you attempt to argue with me, you'll just get blocked. I'm not here to argue.

Spop antis welcome! My takes may not be as in-depth as yours and I apologize for that, I'm still a baby anti and this is all very new to me.

I will be discussing abuse heavily in this account, feel free to leave if you are triggered by that.

Hi! Asexual here giving my 2 cents on this take because I feel like it's REALLY uneducated!

YES! Asexual people CAN have sex, many DO. Asexual doesn't mean you DON'T have sex. It means you don't feel sexual attraction (Example, you don't see someone as "hot" or "sexy" or any other type of sexually attractive term) Many may sleep with their partners because they enjoy the emotional closeness, don't mind it and want their partner to be happy, or they ENJOY the feeling even if they don't feel the attraction. These are refferred to as "sex-positive aces"

NOW! Is Alastor one of these?

I mean...I guess it's possible? But not only is Viv's writing so narrow that I don't think she was able to grasp that, but Alastor has shown NO interest in sex at ALL with ANYONE. He actually is very uncomfortable with physical touch a lot of the time and actively goes AWAY from it or tenses up. He sometimes hugs his friends but it's different when HE'S touching them vs when they touch him. It also seems like he doesn't have sex with Rosie's comment: "What are you doing, Alastor? She's much too young for you! Oh, I'm kidding! I know you're an ace in hole!" which shows that he DOESN'T have sex, so he could be sex-negative or sex neutural, but he doesn't seem to be sex positive. BUT moving on...

Also, a LOT of the radiostatic art (I assume? Idrk, I've seen a few tumblr post and Tiktoks) seem to show Alastor FEELING the sexual attraction. Not only is the ONE constant with asexual people is that they CAN'T feel sexual attraction, but they STEAMROLL over it assuming it to be fine because SOME asexual people have sex.

YES. Some DO. But you're not MAKING him asexual, you're taking his asexuality and washing it off for your dumb little ship, and THAT is why it's acephobic.

The same goes for people who ship him romantically with other people and say it's fine since aro people can be in relationships. YES. They CAN. But there's no ROMANTIC ATTRACTION. They are really on a mission to erase all aro/ace people. I don't even think Alastor is that great representation (Falls into the sterotype that all aro/ace people hate love and romance instead of just not being interested in it themselves)

I don't think these people MEAN to, but you ARE being aro/acephobic if you do this shit because you are ERASING representation, something that's already SO under represented, and changing it to fit your dumb little ships. YES it is harmful. YES it's still not true or accurate. AND, lemme hold your hand while I tell you this...

Alastor legitimately looks miserable after what Vox forced him to watch and it's even WORSE when blink or you'll miss it details in Don't You Forget (Reprise) prove that Alastor is SCARED of Vox. You gotta be some kind of shit writer to make me feel BAD for a canaballistic murderer on ACCIDENT. Like what part of this is funny? It's a legitimately horrifying situation and don't get me STARTED on the Poison pararells

Y'all, this goes out the anti catradora people, STOP COMPARING CATRADORA WITH LUMITY.

I've seen this a few times, people mainly use the dissection scene where Amity apparently convinces Principal Pump to dissect Willow's abomination (Luz) BUT, when you watch the episode, they let WILLOW make the first cut. It's clear Amity wasn't ACTUALLY planning for Luz to DIE. It was only a ploy to get Willow to refuse to dissect Luz so it's revealed to Principal Bump that Luz isn't an abomination. It does NOT compare to all the times Catra nearly KILLED Adora

ALSO do NOT compare the Grom and Catradora dance because BOTH parties agreed to it and were happy during it.

I know people have their own reasons to dislike Lumity, and that's valid, but the dissection scene is SO misunderstood and it urks me.

I think a reason why Stolas pisses me off, more than any other character who are objectively worse than him is because I HATE characters with victim mentality who never take responsibility for their actions (Jimmy, Bojack I mean I like him a character but not as a person, same for Clay, watch Moral Orel, it's way better than anything in the hellaverse) piss me off SO MUCH, like more than any other character, and that is LITERALLY Stolas because he is a writer's pet and can't see himself as in the wrong when he CLEARLY is and always it filled with self-pity just pisses me tf off. Might make a post comparing Stolas and Clay tbh because Clay is a MUCH better character and representation of someone who never takes responibility for their actions. And Moral Orel is actually GOOD and DOESN'T make me want to bash my head in a brick wall, so idk, maybe. Srsly watch Moral Orel, it's underrated and actually good.

Oh hey look, it's romantized bordeline SA with one character being clearly uncomfortable and unhappy the whole time while the other one is very happy and enjoying themselves WAY too much. Also it's even worse because it some scenes Alastor is actually SCARED of him, look at the screenshots that are just shots of his fucking eyes first being confused/honestly kinda sad, then widening in fear then the one of shadows where Alastor's true emotions (A huge fucking wide mouth frown) is showing and all of his smiles are VERY strained.

Ah gee, I missed ships with a huge power dynamic shipping a POC with a white man and romantizing the noncon while the one being abused does not return the feelings. Ah where did I see this before? *COUGH* STOLITZ *COUGH*

Loving a show's music but hating the show is genuinely such a weird fucking experience, like wdym I hate Hazbin Hotel because of it's bad pacing, boring characters, rushed romances and arcs, and horrible representation of nearly everything they fucking try, but also love the soundtrack ironically, like I feel a similar way about Helluva Boss, even though I like their music a little less and it geuienly has the worst fucking character I've seen, fuck Stolas.

Y'all, I don't care, I'm the number 1 radio//static hater, that shit was forced af. Vox showed NO SIGNS of liking Alastor in season 1, meanwhile in season 2, he's obsessed with him and has been in love with him for 70 years actually, also Vox is a sadist and has a huge god complex, no we're not assisnating his character, he was always like this, shut up. Even though he never even MENTIONED god before. He always had a god complex, trust me bro. Like Viv, this is YOUR show, remember? You don't have to make huge plot changes as fanservice. But ig she doesn't know that idk

All I'm going to say is that if someone was publicly shamed for having sex with me when I was on a date with them, then they HID THEIR FACE and only apologized with a half-ass text message and not even have the decency to apologize in person, AND that this was the first nonsexual experience we had together, I would assume that he only cared about me as a sex toy as well but idk, seems like our relationship would only be meant to seem sexual to me but idk (Even if you ignore all of the coercion going on, it still is a shitty relationship)

Since it's blink or you'll miss it, here's the "apology" he didn't even bring up what he was apologizing for. This is deadass "I'm sorry that you got upset at something I did" shitty apology type, he even said he found it FUNNY that both of you were publicly shamed:

Honestly when you really look at Stella and put yourself in her shoes, she's pretty tragic.

Imagine this, you are forced to marry a man you have no feelings for and have to bear his children, then not only that, both of you hate each other and cannot stand the other. You make it very obvious and tend to argue, but stay married due to status and familal pressure.

THEN you found out that your husband slept with a lower class man (Who broke into your HOUSE, mind you) in your bed and that man went OUT of your bedroom in only a coat, fell on a table and into your food, and said "Sorry I fucked your husband" in front of ALL of your friends and family, effectively humiliating you in front of EVERYONE you know and then to rub salt into the wound, your husband giddily announces that he's divorcing you in front of EVERYONE, again making things even WORSE.

It gets even worse when you take into account but basically EVERYONE but her creepy brother who is weird af with her is implied to have shunned her for what happened, yeah I'd snap too in her position tf?

I will stand by Stella forever idc. There's literally no proof she ever treated her daughter badly. We do have her not getting up when Stolas said that Via was calling them...but that's actually pretty normal for married couples to have a system of who tends to their child so that's really not that bad!?? Also she went WITH Stolas and Octavia to Loo Loo Land land and was happy

AND yes she did smile when Via was crying, but not only was her first instict to hug Via when she literally could've done nothing, but she was looking at the TV screen and focusing on Stolas dying, NOT that fact that her daughter was upset.

Also, also, she literally spends weekends with Octavia which even more proves that she does have lova for Via, and her calling an assassin on Stolas really isn't that bad when you consider that this is Hell and that the main characters are literally assassins even though the show ignores it AND that she was humiliated in front of ALL of her friends and family and was most likely shunned by some of them (She literally NEVER has another party after the divorce or is seen hanging out with ANYONE besides her creepy brother so I can really only assume the worst)

Also her being homophobic is literally the dumbest shit ever when she never ONCE brought up that Stolas slept with a man, only with an imp, and literally spends all of her time with her creepy (Allegedly) gay brother. People really reach to make Stella the worst person alive istg.
