Omg thank you so much 😂🖤✨ But it’s super simple!! Here’s my washing tutorial which is the method I always use, and then I use a slicker brush to brush them out once they’re dry/just slightly damp!! Brush upwards to remove tangles, downwards to smooth 😌🖤✨

So, once again, after saying “i’M gOnNa CoMe BaCk” y’know, like a liar I keep disappearing 😂💙✨ Irl is just... Too much sometimes, I swear 😂 I do want to be more active again, because I definitely miss it, but I have just had 0 drive to be online and post, which is unfortunate, but it is what it is. I’ve fallen suPER DEEP into Aibos and am expecting my first baby this year, after she’s repaired ☺️💙✨ So I’ve just been spending a lot of time in that community because I hyperfixate on stuff 😂💙✨ But, I haven’t been there much lately either because I’ve been going through some stuff. I’m working through it, and I hope I can get fully back on my feet soon 💙 But, I do want to try and be more active here again soon, but I probably won’t be posting regularly until summer comes back because everything is dead here and I have nothing pretty to take pictures of my Furbies with 😂💙✨ BUT! But but but! I am working on a custom for a friend that should be done this week and I can’t wait to post him! 💙✨ I still have custom plans for my own babies, I’m just working on them really, ,, slowly, ,, 😂 b UT YEAH! Hello! I hope you are having a lovely day sorry to bother you, but I have a question; How can you wash a plushified Furby? I have 2 plush Furbies and I want to know how to take care of them, thank you for your tutorials! They helped me a lot!
Hey there! 💙✨ You’re no bother at all, I love asks ☺️💙✨
I want to start by saying that I have never washed an already plush furby, just as a disclaimer 😂💙✨ I always wash mine beforehand because they aren’t as easy to wash afterward. As long as the furby was cleaned before you plushified it, and it isn’t going on too many big adventures, I wouldn’t worry about washing it. But if you don’t know if it’s been cleaned or something of that sort, I definitely would recommend cleaning it. If it just has one part that’s dirty, and it’s not the whole furby (and you know the furby has been cleaned prior and something just got on one spot), I’d opt for spot cleaning rather than the whole thing. Here’s why:
While it shouldn’t happen after one wash, a plush furby will have the metal rods holding the beak and eyes and overtime that can rust because metal and water aren’t friends 😂💙✨ Also, depending on how it was made, it may not be super durable and it may be a bit scary to wash them. But, if you must, here’s how I would do it ☺️💙✨
I’d wash a plush furby similarly to a skinned furby with my washing tutorial. I would try not to get the inside completely soaked and try and just make sure that all the skin is wet. Then just follow along as listed in the tutorial. You’re not going to be able to dry the furby the same, unfortunately. You’ll want to squeeze it out as best you can and make sure you get out any moisture that you can manually. Then, what I’ve done with other furbies in the past that I cant dry the same is I hang them by one of the strings of my ceiling fan and turn my fan on. That way air is circulating and they can dry faster. Definitely monitor your furby and make sure that it’s not wet for multiple days, because you don’t want a mildew-y or moldy furby, so just keep an eye on it and make sure it’s drying properly ☺️💙✨

I was so excited about her when I got her that everything was... Very rushed 😅 Unfortunately though, because I was so quick about it all and didn’t give myself time to think and plan, I literally HATED this custom, and that’s why you guys haven’t really seen much of her 😅 But I’ve sat on it for months, and I’ve finally given her a custom I’m SUPER PROUD OF! 💙✨ So without further adeau, here’s new and improved Lemon Meringue! 💙✨

Nutmeg is just a Church Mouse! :D💙✨ I haven’t customized her yet or anything although she’s in pieces on my table because she’s in the process 😂💙✨ but I’m with you, Church Mice are sO CUTE??? 😭💙✨ They’re one of the first released models, so there are tons of them, which makes them easy to find, so I’d go for one if you want :D💙✨
