That simply means I have not found a match who has met your criteria yet and you have met theirs. I genuinely hope to find you a match, but there is no guarantee that everyone can have a match. Since this is fairly new, I have about 70 sign-ups, and so not everyone will get a match from that batch of people. Some do, Alhamdulilah, some don’t. I cannot predict the outcome. This is why I make 98% of the payment after a nikkah has happened.

I don’t usually send emails unless I genuinely believe a couple has some potential to work out, or else I’m wasting everyone’s time. I guarantee that I do try my best and that I intend to contact you whenever a seemingly suitable prospect comes along, in shaa Allah.

Could I please know the figures, how many brothers/ sisters have signed up? I’m an Arab brother looking to sign up but weary of results

There are just over 60 sign ups, but no one matches one another, so I’m currently at a standstill. The more sign-ups, the better for everyone, since I can have more selection and a better chance to make these matches, in shaa Allah.

It’s roughly 50/50 brothers and sisters now (Approximately 30 for each).

Sign-up is only $3, but if payment is an issue for anybody, just let me know and I can easily waive it.

There are 2 times for payment:

1st) Sign up fee: $3 for an indefinite time of being on my “Potential Prospects List.” Meaning there is no expiration - I only remove you from my list when either:

A) I successfully find you your spouse and you get married, or

B) You yourself email me to remove you from the list

2nd) Successful Match Charge: $100 per person, paid ONLY IF I successfully find you your spouse and YOU GET MARRIED through my service. (If you do not get married through me, there is no charge for a failed match, no matter how many times it takes.)

* There is also an optional fee, where I can do a Reference Check of the prospect by interviewing references of the prospect about his/her character and reputation (without the propspect ever having a chance to know what was said about him/her). This would be $5 per reference. This can be paid once the referencee reply is received.

I know you do counselling, but I just wanted your advice. I am 25 years old and live with my parents and family. Lately I've been feeling like I haven't achieved much and am behind in life. I don't want marriage and don't believe that it's the solution to my problems, contrary to other people's stereotypical beliefs. But I can't find a job, everytime I try to buy a car it doesn't work out, as when I've tried to travel/work abroad. It seems that whatever I try to do to improve my situation, it fails. Alhamdilallah I am not struggling or anything, but do you have any advice for someone who feels like their personal growth is really limited and has been for a while, and yet when they try to do things they think will improve it, they're met with a dead end.

Any help or advice you could give me I would really greatly appreciate it. Sorry for the long message!

Understand that Allah created men and women very differently! Learn what these differences are and don’t just jump to the conclusion that these differences make you and your spouse “incompatible.”

Learn the nature/fitrah of each gender. Too many couples quit too soon, believing that something is “wrong” with their spouse, before taking the time to learn and realize that these differences are actually normal and can work efficiently with the effort to understand one another.

The same way children need their parents to guide them through this world, women need their righteous husbands.

Sadly, there have been numerous cases of orphans who have survived their childhood without any real set of guardians looking out for them. Children who grew up alone, fending for themselves. And yes, they made it and survived.

But who ever advocated that “children don’t need parents to survive! Children should live independently! We must free children from the oppressive system of parenting!” No one, because everyone knows how silly it sounds.

Sisters, please don’t get fooled by the trap of feminism. We need strong men to lead us in the same way that our children need us to lead them. Yes, if pushed to it, we could be strong and navigate life on our own. But why do that to yourself? Don’t fight your fitrah by trying to do it all on your own. Allah did not create us to carry double the burden.
