LANY and a Invisible Line

This show is about airal shots of the cityscape of NY and LA. From above both cities have a very symmetrical look to them. Especially NY where central park is the literally the center and the buildings seem to branch out from it.

Digital Image

Digital images are the new age portfolio in my opinion. It gives instant and easy access to your work to your clients. You can show your instantly without worrying about damaging your prints. It also is an alternative to spending alot of money and time with printing pictures. The times we live in is predominantly digital so it’s also a quicker way to get your work noticed vice submitting it into a magazine which also nowadays is also very much digital.

Conceptual Photography

To me it’s a form of art that is more or less mentally stimulating. You can look at and see something different from the next person. It’s a photographer’s painting where he/she has complete control on what they want their audience to see. This way they can invoke some sort of feeling from their audience and not just make them confused as to what it they’re looking at.

To create a book is to put your work out there for the world to see traditionally. Not many people will pick up a book in a modern world nowadays but you can still have a book done digitally as well.You can publish your book yourself. You have complete control of how it’s done and it’s content. A publisher can also publish it for you however you have to pay a percentage to the company. You can have a agent publish your book as well.

So no need for warehousing your unsold books. •Second is Self Publishing. Self publishing means the author is responsible for producing, marketing, distributing and warehousing yourself. But you get all profits and not just a royalty. •Third is traditional publishing, as in a publishing house. Through your agent you sign a contract to have your book printed, marketed, distributed and warehoused for you. In return for doing all the work and paying all the cost for you, the publishing house makes the profit on book sales and you receive royalties for the sales.
