Due to issues securing a venue, Fierce Fest will be postponed to next year and for this we present: SORRY FEST!

SORRY FEST is an alternative event (like a mini Fierce Fest) featuring: potluck, spoken word, bands, zines, art, and much more! Come heal with us before shitty family BBQs that celebrate white supremacy and imperialism! Please bring a food dish or item to share for the potluck! SORRY FEST is a safer space dedicated to people of color who are marginalized along gender and sexuality lines.

SQUAD will start collecting articles for our first collective zine, Punk is Homo: A Queer Punk Anthology.

We would like you to submit your own written article about your experiences with punk/hardcore as a queer person! An example would be how a queercore band has changed your life, or maybe stories you want to share as the only queer person within an cishet band or space. There's so much to document, let's archive our existence and our voices!

introducing SQUAD's official tumblr page!

we chose a pyramid, as opposed to a triangle, to represent us. it symbolizes an ascension in queer discourse, a recognition of intersectional oppressions that are so real for so many of us, a problematizing of assimilationist, white-supremacist lg"bt" politics, and a recentralization of the struggles of the most marginalized queers & trans folx among us.

let's keep moving forward and leave no qt behind! (well. unless they're like cops. or pieces of shit. you know what i mean)
