You hear a squeak from the darkness, and out comes several glowing purple eyes-- is this a void mass? It seems so... small.

" ... Oh, I didn't know void masses could be this small.. "
[ it gently patted the little void mass with one of it's tentacles ]

A dark room.
She sighs. Not again.
She doesn't bother pulling out a flashlight anymore, having memorized some rooms and this room seemed like one of them. Just walk through.
She follows the pipe on the floor and it leads to a door. That needs a keycard to open. Dammit. She has to use a flashlight.
She searches around carefully, making sure to keep her flashlight down and only raise it up to see something clearer.
There's a side room. The door opens with a shift and she raises her flashlight to see properly and-
Oh hOLY-
She immediately turned the flashlight off with a gasp, flinching at the sight of another Squiddle. "I swear to the Stars, you guys are cute, but if you keep popping up like that, I'm not gonna last long..." She pants, just mumbling to herself, thinking it wouldn't understand.

[ the moment that the light hit it's face, squid covered it's eyes with one of it's tentacles. But after a moment it looks at the girl. ]
" .. Oh, I'm sorry. I'll go to another room if you want "
She blinks twice. "Did you.. did you just talk??"
Since when did Squiddles talk???
"I really need to sleep. STAT." She mumbles with wide eyes.
She thinks she's hallucinating because she stayed up a couple nights. Wow.
" yeah, I did.. Though i don't think there's anywhere comfortable enough to sleep here "
[ it grabs something from it's bag. And then gives it to the girl ]
" here, a blacklight! I already have one so I don't need another "
I wanna flashbang you so bad because you're always in the dark and you jumpscare me every time I accidentally bump into you
