Squeaky: i mean biological development we're on the same path but mentally and emotionally we're different. but i understand, i would probably feel the same way if i were in your place. well we can try one of those career tests that see what you'd be suited for?

Squirmy: Don't get me wrong, I'm not mad at you or anything for having your life more together than I do. I just wish that was also me? And sure! Can we both take one?

Squeaky: Us being twins just means we were created from the same cell. It doesn't mean we have to have everything done at the same time. We're a little different in a lot of ways. I still don't know exactly what I want to do in the future, I just know it's not being a pirate. You're not behind or anything. Everyone's still figuring their selves out. And I would be more than happy to help you too.

Squirmy: Sometimes it feels like it should mean that we do things at the same time, or at least, that's how it feels to me. I guess it makes sense that it wouldn't feel that way to the one of us that's ahead. I'd love help though, even if I'm not sure where to start.

Squirmy: I guess. I mean, I know you're right. But it still feels weird? I don't know. I feel like you're closer to knowing how you want to reinvent yourself than I am which I'm proud of you for! But it also makes me feel like I'm crazy behind for not knowing, well, anything about me.

That’s true. I mean, Mr. Sparkles is more of an actor than I am, but still, I don’t think we have the chops for that. And besides, I’ve always been curious as to what Matchmakr is like and I’m definitely not going to make one for myself so it’s as good a way as any! Thanks for the suggestion. I hope you watch the videos once I make them! The more people that watch, the better.

Squirmy: I know stealing isn't fun or nice but I don't know, isn't it just kind of natural? It's in our blood, even, right? From Dad?

Squeaky: those skorts things, right? i haven't actually tried or seen them in person, i don't think.

Squeaky: hmmm i know it's a little unorthodox for swimming, but they do have them for scuba divers. i'm not sure how much it would cost to get one. i'm sure there has to be an inexpensive one.

Squirmy: Yes, that's what they're called! I've never seen them in person either but I know I didn't just make them up so they've got to be somewhere.

Squirmy: Is it bad that my first thought was that we could probably convince a fellow pirate to steal it for us?

who are your best friends and why?

@angelinatremaine is probably my best friend in the, like, most typical usage of that term? She’s just someone who’s always made me happy, not just because she’s an amazing chef and I definitely benefit from getting to eat whatever she makes, but just because that’s how it feels when I’m around her, you know?

@celia-facilier is another friend of mine, probably because she’s so different than me. She’s really brave, whereas I don’t have a brave bone in my body, and she’s really talented with her craft. 

Finally, of course my twin is my friend. @squeaky-smee is like my other half and we always have each other’s backs, no matter what.

Squeaky: Oh yeah, skirts might be super comfortable. I can wear like those small shorts underneath so it's not like completely bare under there.

Squirmy: Good idea! Or they sell skirts that have shorts built in, right? I swear that's a thing and I'm not just making it up.

Squirmy: I wish they sold swimsuits that were less revealing. I'm hating the heat and would love a pool party or something but until they sell full body swimsuits, I can't do it.
