Hi LA, are you still here!
Hello
A new chapter
My life chapters, as far as I can remember, come in multiples of 4. 2010 to 2014 are the college years up in the snowy Wisconsin. 2014 to 2018 are the working years in the sunshine state. And now comes another 4 years of studying before I can call myself a pharmacist. I've decided to have some sort of record of these upcoming years as I go through all the fun and games of being a pharmacy student, hence this post and hopefully many more to come... :)
First week of pharmacy school is officially done. Here's to 1358 days to go until I get that PharmD! (that's right, who's counting, I definitely am) đ
So far so good with all the team-based learning and quizzes. Everyone says block 1 is the easiest and serves as a transition from undergrad to grad studies. I say it's going to take me more than a month to get used to this new lifestyle. Hopefully, I can get my procrastination under control đ±(This Chinese drama show Iâm watching called Story of Yanxi Palace - DiĂȘn Hi CĂŽng LÆ°á»Łc might get in the way of that đ€)
Cheers to second week!

Sometimes your best friend can be your best end, youâll be okay again. So keep wandering until you find yourself, youâre not lost I promise. You just have to be your own hero for a little whileâŠ

Daydream delusion Limousine Eyelash Oh, baby with your pretty face Drop a tear in my wineglass Look at those big eyes See what you mean to me Sweet cakes and milkshakes I am a delusion angel I am a fantasy parade I want you to know what I think Donât want you to guess anymore You have no idea where I came from We have no idea where weâre going Lodged in life Like two branches in a river Flowing downstream Caught in the current Iâll carry you. Youâll carry me Thatâs how it could be Donât you know me? Donât you know me by now?

Francois Rabelais. He was a poet. And his last words were âI go to seek a Great Perhaps.â Thatâs why Iâm going. So I donât have to wait until I die to start seeking a Great Perhaps.

âI always feel this pressure of being a strong and independent icon of womanhood, and without making it look my whole life is revolving around some guy. But loving someone, and being loved means so much to me. We always make fun of it and stuff. But isn't everything we do in life a way to be loved a little more?â

Both are convinced that a sudden surge of emotion bound them together. Beautiful is such a certainty, but uncertainty is more beautiful still. Since theyâd never met before, theyâre sure that nothing was happening between them. What of streets, stairways and corridors where they could have passed each other long ago? Iâd like to ask them whether they rememberâ Perhaps in a revolving door ever being face to face? An âexcuse meâ in a crowd? A curt âwrong numberâ in the receiver? But I know the answer: No, they donât remember. Theyâd be greatly astonished to learn that for a long time Chance had been playing with them. Not yet wholly ready to transform into fate for them it approached them, then backed off, stood in their way, and, suppressing a giggle, jumped to the side. There were signs and signals, even if they couldnât read them yet. Perhaps three years ago or just last Tuesday a certain leaf fluttered from one shoulder to another? Something was dropped and then picked up. Who knows, maybe the ball that vanished into childhoodâs thicket? There were doorknobs and doorbells where one touch had covered another beforehand. Suitcases checked and standing side by side. One night, perhaps, the same dream, forgotten in waking. Every beginning is only a sequel, after all, and the book of events is always open halfway through.
