opportunity alert
hi everyone! i know it’s been a hot minute since i’ve been on here but i’ve been working away on a project that’s really close to me and i wanted to share it with you. i’m working on starting a non-profit organization called peervice. peervice is a mentorship program where undergrad students mentor high school students. the goal with this initiative is to pair students with similar backgrounds, goals, and stories. so while mentors can provide insight in the college application process and academics, they also have had similar life experiences as mentees, like domestic violence, mental illness, being a part of the LGBTQ+ community, racism, or any other struggles.
so where do you come into the picture?
right now, i’m working on putting together an executive team. i’m looking for people that are motivated, passionate, and identify with peervice’s mission. the open positions are web developer, graphic designer, social media coordinator, outreach officer, and program coordinator. if you have ANY experience with these things at all, please apply! i’d be so happy to have you guys on the team. i know how talented and dedicated everyone in the studyblr community is ;) it’s an exceptional leadership opportunity that you can put on your resume, so please consider applying. even if you yourself don’t want to apply, please reblog and share so someone who might be looking for a leadership opportunity can see this!

so this week has been a long year huh…. two weeks no classes over here (with no word yet on whether we’ll get an online component). adapting to working from home is gonna be weird one, but thankfully i have plenty of sunlight and a new found love for tea 🥺 i hope you all are staying safe and doing well!! things will get better. i promise.
