To our fellow queer friends and allies who are seeing this post, please am taking this opportunity to show you how difficult is the life we are experiencing in the camp.
To everyone who is reading this, I'm kindly requesting to please share this post to reach to many people as well as possible and to reach to the ones who can give support to us , we need to have well accommodated shelters.
The kind of shelters we are currently sleeping is so temporary and when it rains, water enters and heavy wind breaks that always sweep off our roofs.

This is how the weather affects us here in the camp, when it comes to a rainy season, our houses are flooded with water, due to the extent that they are built temporarily with the tents and only iron sheets and timbers.
When there is a heavy wind, it breaks and cause damage which eases rain to penetrate through. Our electric devices, clothes, mattresses and many others get spoilt.

LGBTQIA persons in the the camps are not safe, they are facial discriminations, persecution from the locals and the host communities, torture, brutals l, hostility attacks and many others . For these reasons, many are traumatized and some even think that they are left alone.
These individuals fled from there home countries due to persecution by their family members or the community because of being homosexuality and in many countries it is a crime, they can sentence you for good years.
Therefore we run into refugee camps to seek for protection but unfortunately in the camps we meet with different races refugees of which some are against us and they create fear in us of which we have no home.
