Reblogging for the tags cuz horses are absolutely the most lovable gentle creatures you'll ever meet if they are treated with respect and understanding by their primary caretaker/rider.

Unfortunately a lot of people straight up refuse to learn how horses communicate and that leads to horses' going unheard until they have to take extreme means like biting, kicking, bolting, etc. And then they just get labeled as crazy/naughty/dumb instead. It absolutely makes my blood boil.

I've had the opportunity to work with multiple horses who had all kinds of labels stapled on them but as soon as you put them with someone who tries to understand they slowly become just a horse again.

I'm not gonna go into detail about those horses cuz we would be here all day. Maybe I will in another post.
