I love Bully I really do, but I think I'm going to continue on with my hiatus. I originally thought it'd be temporary because I had finals, blah, blah, blah. You're not here to listen to me yap about my life
ANYWAYS
With the recent bs that's been going around (there is honestly so many) My mental health has been declining because of how much negativity there is. So... i'm deciding to leave.
Not permanently! And I'm especially not deleting this account at all. I just really have to take a step back and not think about Bully for a while.
HOWEVER
I'm going onto a seperate account to be a loser and post about some of my other special interests. Mostly about Oc's. @outtacontext if you wanna check it out
The only reason I did a seperate account is cause I lowkey dedicated this account to Bully and I cannot see it as anything else so... my bad? LMAO
...A nail poked him in the back, reeling him back into the present. He couldn't help but wince, before turning his head round. All he found is a note, folded ever so neatly, and being handed out to him.
Stupid girl notes, he thought while he turned back. Didn’t even bother to take it. All the while, her knuckles kept pressing into his shoulder
Take it, she silently pleaded.
He bristled.
Like an idiot his eyes went to Mr. Hattrick — the latter’s back turned — so he snatched the note before stuffing it under the book he scribbled the doodles in. He’d read it later, but god forbid he needs another girl asking him out. He didn’t need to be thinking about other girls when his beautiful, lovely, gorgeous Lola left him.
He's chest deep in murky water for that girl...
Guys trust, I'm cooking. I say as I have to rewrite the chapter for the seventh time :'D
can you write headcanons for lefty x reader who is very affectionate physically and very into pda
This was fun to realize how much I know nothing about relationships XD
JKJK (partially) Thank you for the request!!
Lefty Mancini x Affectionate!reader who's into PDA
"Whose the man of this relationship?" He'll ask joking if you initiate anything. Kissing, hands on his face, shoulders, waist.
He feels a little out of his element when he's with you. Like his world has been shattered. He can't follow others and pretend he knows what's going on.
It scares him. Really, it does. He though guys like him were supposed to take the lead, but you flipped him on his head
(This doesn't matter if you're a guy, girl, non-conforming. He just has that toxic macho man mentality)
He's not one to really mind if his partner is into PDA or not. Though, he does love the attention, who doesn't?
His hands run warm no matter the season. During winter you two are holding hands pretty much all the time, especially if you run colder.
In summer, you better run colder than him or he's yelling for you to get away. If you also like torturing him, there's your go to :D
You kiss him randomly? He's already flushing. Normally he expects some sort of warning.
He'll be hanging out with his friends, feel a peck to his check. Turning his head just in time, he watches you go off to your next class.
His friends tease about it constantly, but he doesn't care it spikes his ego like crazy.
Flirting in public is an on-going back and forth. His friends groan when you two are together. It's too much for them when you two are together (they're jealous they don't got game TRUST)
If you loudly shout down the hallways, or talk loud about how much you love him, he's smiling like an idiot. His ego is jumping higher and higher.
One of the few guys of his clique who don't mind his hair being tousled. The strands are greasy, probably crunchy from the pomade and lack of using shampoo, yet, he doesn't mind it. Regardless, he's passing out like a light switch.
Speaking of which, he falls asleep real easy, especially if you play with his hair. One of his weaknesses.
After fights he would rather not be touched by you. Not like you did anything wrong, he feels wrong
With him, it feels like you only initiate physically. He does, yet, he doesn't know if you want him to touch you. It leaves him to not saying anything about it.
He doesn't communicate issues in his relationships, kind of why they fall apart quick
If it bothers you, arguments most likely happen and it'll get messy fast. Everything spills until there's nothing left to hide. It becomes a rough spot in your relationship, but, eventually, it gets sorted out. That is only if you guys don't break up first.
If it doesn't bother you as much, nothings really done about it. Obviously. He doesn't notice that he isn't taking the lead as much as you do.

Istg I've been busy trying to download all my boards on pinterest because of the potential of openai buying it out. I'm NAWT risking that biscuit dawg
I am so ill for your writing. Can I request Derby x Assistant!Reader but his assistant (who his father hired for him) actually bites back and constantly clocks him on his bullshit (even more than Bif).
Bonus points if the reader is openly from a poorer class. Thank youuuuuu ^3^
And you say I glaze. Alright buddy, wrap it up.
JKJK THANK YOU TWINN!!
Probably the most inaccurate thing I've written. I'm not sure what an assistant would really do in Derby's case (this is set at Bullworth, I'm assuming). Plus I'm not even sure what an assistant does in general. Secretary, yes, but assistant??? I don't really know.
ANYWAYS I just want to apologize in advance
Derby Harrington x Assistant!reader
You come from a busy environment. This and that, oh wait… what about this? Your mind is on multiple things.
It only tripled once you got this job.
It's good money. Real good money. You definitely needed it as much as you didn't want to say that. It's too good of an opportunity to pass up.
Derby is cruel in his own ways; assigning too much at once, being snappy, asking too many things.
He 100% pokes fun at your 'unfortunate situation' as he calls it. He even says things like 'I don't know why my father would waste good money on you."
...How sweet.
He's clearly surprised when you retaliate. You could see it on his face: eyebrows knitted closer, shoulders going down ever so faintly. It's all you get to see before he schools himself into what his fathers made him
"Keep up this and you'll be fired." He tells you, over and over.
Does it ever happen? No.
Is he bothering you more? Yes.
He enjoys getting such reactions out of you. Though he'll shut it down just as quickly. There isn't much you can do after that.
You really have to knit-pick his words. He isn't an ass, just mostly one. He doesn't sugar coat things, especially not for the underdogs. Why should he?
Yet, the undertones of his words have a lot more meaning compared to those on the surface.
As much as he says he doesn't, he enjoys verbally sparing with people. It's obvious in the way he continues to egg you on despite knowing he probably shouldn't be.
He'll either linger far too long to bother you or disappear for long periods of time. No in-between.
"Do you have anything better to do?" That's a common question you ask him as he lingers like a cockroach. No matter times you spray him he won't leave.
However, when he stays away, it's not because he's physically away like on a trip, no, it's because his father scolded him from treating you more like a friend than an assistant. To please him, Derby leaves ypu alone for days at a time, than promptly goes right back at it
You have your own space in the Harrington's estate. Mr. Harrington made sure of that.
He has a stubborn streak a mile wide, what do you expect
Sucks because your close to Derby all the time. Though, it's also a good thing in certain circumstances.
If you two get closer, he has GOSSIP for days. He pretends not to eavesdrop, but he is, like all of the time
Sometimes there's one of your favourite drinks waiting for you. If you accuse him of doing it, he'll deny it and say it was most likely his father asking one of the maids to bring it in
You probably notice a lot more than he does. With the position you're in you have to spot things before it becomes an issue.
Derby's similar in that way, but only with his clique. He doesn't have much to control over
––––
I really gotta go make general headcanons for this goof 💔💔
None of my thoughts about him are organized so I gotta look through several files JUST to find stuff
Derby moves out of Bullworth to follow in his fathers footsteps to work in Harrington Oil. He left Bullworth behind.
Now, late at night as Derby's unable to sleep, he recognizes a very particular voice over his radio. Too familar...
Clearly he didn't leave it all behind...
An idea that's been obsessing in my mind since I heard the song Sweethearts FM by Lavalove
Might make this into a proper fic. One day... one day... For now it's a dumb blurb, so enjoy (。・ω・。)
I thought I posted this last night.. apparently i'm a fat fucking chud
Ao3 link here ♡
---♡---
He had hoped to fall asleep early. Yet, the hope drained as his eyes stared wide at the ceiling. At one point, he got up to crack his window open. Fresh air helps after all.
Apparently not, he found out rather quickly. Eyes kept staring up, thinking about everything in between of nothing in particular. No subject interested him more than another, he simply thought. It felt like existing in an elevator, and it dropped him off at different floors only to reel him back in.
He groaned, annoyed at his minds lack of effort to relax. He had nothing to worry about besides bossing his employees tomorrow. He could do what he wanted, why did it matter? Harrington Oil is his company.
The loud racket of an engine backfiring cause him to jolt. Getting out of Bullworth meant not dealing with these issues. Apparently, he isn't so lucky, god forbid he wants something akin to peace.
Derby leaned over to his bedside table. Oh, it's certainly a beauty to look at, even if the moonlight barely reflected the richness of the wood, or the silver handles that matched the undertones. One of the best pieces he's commissioned.
Money certainly buys the best things after all.
However, he wasn't lusting over wood grains or silver handles, maybe some other time. No, his eyes are on one thing in particular. A radio — his radio. During his nights at Harrington House when Preps barely slept and hallways to loud. Nothing could stop those heathens. So, to compensate, he got a radio.
He really was surprised to learn it wasn't that much. It looks old fashioned, and for 20 dollars? He didn't believe it, in turn paying far too much for it. Didn't matter, he loved it dearly.
Nimble fingers flicked the switch 'on', and twisted around dials until he found his perfect tune. Low enough where it didn't bother, but not too low, he wouldn't be able to hear.
His arm came back under the sheets as he laid on his side. For a moment, he closed his eyes. Some love song about the pain of never wanting to hurt someone you love. The artist, he didn't recognize, but her voice isn't loud.
"That was Sweethearts FM by Lavalove—"
That voice…
Derby opened his eyes. He knew he couldn't see anything, but he needed to hear that again. Do radios have a reverse button?
His body sat up immediately after he realized like the fool he is. "Johnny Vincent?!" He yelled into the empty bedroom.
Johnny Vincent. That greaser is in town. With him.
Derby assumed he'd be stuck in Bullworth like the rest of those scummy motor oil enthusiasts.
He rubbed his face. Any amount of exhaustion that came over him through that song disappeared as quick as he shot up.
The rumble of the radio continued, almost like it wanted to taunt him. Johnny's voice too low to hear. Thank whatever being is watching him for that. He didn't want that sleazeball anywhere near him.
Beatrice x Bif secret dating fic??? 👀 (+ Jimmy is the only one who knows about it :3)
I'm so sorry for taking so long !! I wasn't really sure how to word it, or even how to include Jimmy. Kinda why it took forever in a day, again I'm so sorry !!
Regardless I'm happy with the way it turned out, even as I struggled HARD. Thank you for your request, this was fun !!
Beatrice Trudeau x Bif Taylor
Too late for this...
A squeal followed by a soft click from the door to her dorm room caused her to blink and raise her head. Her hands came up to her face, fixing the glasses that kept falling down her nose before she turned her head over her shoulder, trying to see who came in. It's most likely one of the girls.
However, that thought almost immediately fell apart when she felt a kiss to her cheek. Her mind, still tired and slow, took a long moment to process what just happened. She blinked slow, yet, her brows raised. That was until she felt horror fill her body.
The chairs legs screeched noisily against the floor. Her body felt dizzy from standing up so quick, but she didn't care, her eyes were on him.
"What are you doing here?!" She whispered harshly, though the panic ran down her bones, leaving a shiver in it's wake.
Her head whipped around towards the other girls sleeping before turning back to him. Her hands touched his chest and shoved him out of her room and towards the side door. Thankfully her room is on the main level and not upstairs or something like that.
They stood on the steps outside, and the cold night air made her feel like she might as well been wearing a swimsuit. These pajamas have always been thinner but it feels colder then ever out here.
"What were you thinking?!" Beatrice felt angry, maybe it's cause she's tired, or the fact that she didn't have any time to freshen up. Whatever it is, she felt disgusting.
All Bif did is straighten out his shirt, "Missed you too."
This boy might as well be the death of her.
"You can't do this, you know?" A knot in her chest loosened looking at him. She missed him too, of course she did. They rarely saw each other, especially since her studies are getting more intense.
Besides, they could only meet up at night, when there's no prying eyes.
She stepped forward, wrapping her arms around him instead. She's angry, but she hates feeling this way. Having his arms around her made it better.
After a short moment, she hummed, "Missed you too."
Bif is always warm, even with this chill, aquaberry, as ugly as it can look, can keep some serious heat in. Unless Bif's just like that in general. Beatrice isn't sure, but it's one or the other regardless.
The scuff of shoes dragging on concrete made the both freeze. She backed off, hands still holding onto his arms
“Hey Beatrice, I got your—” Jimmy stopped dead in his tracks to look at the two here.
"Hopkins," Bif greeted, though it could barely be considered a nice greeting. His ego is still bruised from the boxing fight. Yeah, he'd kill this little runt.
“Easy man, I don't wanna fight you,” Jimmy waved his hands in the air, like he was trying to ease a big ape.
Beatrice's hand clutched onto his aquaberry sweater, attempting to make Bif stop for just a minute.
“I got the stuff you wanted,” Jimmy spoke up, taking a package from god knows where and handing it out to her.
She totally forgot she asked him for this.
“Much obliged!” Her smile went bright as she accepted the gift. The gift didn't stop her smile from faltering, "I was hoping you'd give this to me tomorrow."
"I heard you love birds fighting, so I decided to bring it now." Jimmy always found how to make things worse.
Beatrice's face fell. Silently, she looked back and Bif, then at Jimmy, and she began to beg. If anything got out and her… and Bif. Oh god… “Please don't tell this to anyone. Please Jimmy!”
Jimmy looked at between them, but he scowled before taking a few steps backwards, “I don't give a damn."
It didn't take long for Jimmy to round the corner of the girls dorm, disappearing for god knows how long.
“He's stupid, but loyal,” Beatrice direct her attention back to Bif before pressing an air kiss a centimeter away from his lips, “It'll be okay.”
Bif, visibly eased as he looked at her face. He hated Hopkins. God he loathed that stupid kid. Yet, his beautiful girl stood here, perfect as ever, he could ignore that for now.
His hands went back onto her, pressing a proper kiss to her lips, quick and easy. Never failed to make her blush.
She gave him a light shove, despite the clear giddy joy on her face, “Bif! My cold sores are totally acting up!”
Johnny Vincent x Artsy!Nice!Reader? This is more of an oc than anything HAHAHAHA but I really love your understanding of him!! You can ignore this if you'd like but I would so extremely appreciate if you could give me your 2 cents on this! (Headcannons, blurbs, up to you!)
They're not an airhead and a genuine girl's girl (person), really nice like helps preps pickup fallen books nice just because. Loves any and all types of art, you could say they're pretty whimsy with the way they dress and carries themselves. *Will* argue with Johnny if they think he's in the wrong but not enough to let him go home angry and sad (i know this sounds like a Mary Sue but i like to believe the reader can be very, very stubborn. More than him.)
So, so, SO incredibly sorry for taking so long to answer this !! Genuinely, thank you so much, it means a lot to know people like my headcanons of characters and putting my own two-bits into everything... like my shitty references LMAO
This is more strangers to friends/partners. Depends on how you take it. Thank you for the request !!
Johnny Vincent x Artsy!nice!reader
Johnny's heard this song and dance before. He's been in Bullworth since he was in middle school. Why wouldn't he notice? The people who are 'nice' always get it beaten out of them in the first week.
Insults, gossip, getting jumped. He's played in those games. He knows them well.
... Apparently, not that well.
You came to Bullworth, the perfect target. A slab of fresh neat the people in this shithole could tenderize. Johnny barely batted his eyes at such things. He had other things to worry about besides some 'new kid.'
Until it became his problem.
He watched you in the halls. Hell, he could see you from a mile away with how you decorated yourself and still stayed in the dress code. It took him and all his friends to try and convince Dr. Crabblesnitch that they weren't breaking the dress code. Seemed like they loosened up since the Jocks and Greasers fought tooth and nail to not wear just the uniform and add their own touch to or.
Jealousy ran thick and hot, Prefects barely looked in your direction. It's infuriating, but what could he do? Not much.
His back rested against the lockers, waiting for Lucky to get his shit out of his locker. His mind is already itching for a cigarette. Of course, he forgot his pack that day.
A dull thud hit the floor nearby. He couldn't help but look. You were crouched down, grabbing the book, before handing it to the prep who dropped it. They only scoffed, but you? You were on your merry way.
He scoffed before looking towards his buddies again. You aren't worth his time
At first, he's jealous. It's odd to see students who have a sparkle in their eye and hope in their actions. He's jealous because it was beaten out of him before he could even remember.
He doesn't make that jealousy known, simply just ignores you for as long as possible. So long as he doesn't confront the issues that run deep within his bones
Yet, when he actually gets to know you? It isn't as bad as he thought. It's miserable in its own way, but not terrible.
He hates arguing. Hates it more then he hates Lola leaving him for umpteenth time. No matter if he knows he's right or wrong, he has to argue until the other gives up.
You don't give in.
It makes his rage boil until it spills out of the pot. He'll yell, he'll argue, he'll bullshit. Argue until his lungs burn, and he feels like he has to punch a wall. He's done it more times than one can count (unless you count the holes in the tenements, you'll get a rough estimate)
Your stubbornness counters his own. He won't give up, and you won't either. It's tiring in the way he wants to leave instead of bother.
The stubbornness forces him to stay.
When you try to talk to him afterward, he can start up all over again. It's hard to calm him down because he doesn't let himself calm down. The rage stirs, and he dwells on it, which makes him angrier.
His first instinct is to run. He tries to walk off, but you don't let him, not until you know he's okay again. Stubborn and stubborn don't mix very well. The sight is plain to see when you two simmer in tense silence for far too long.
Eventually, he'll say sorry in his own indirect way: fix bikes, or get slushies from Oil Spill. Sorry isn't a word Johnny knows, nor ever was taught, but he does it in a way that works for both of you.
Really, it's not a surprise that Johnny is jealous. You can be his partner, friend, or even relative, and he's jealous that someone else, more importantly than him is in your life. Lola planted a seed deep within his mind. Now, it swarms with thick foliage that he can't see through.
Will you leave? That's the main question.
You're a people person. A girls girl. People just gotta ask, and you'll help. That's simply how you are. All the while, his mind screams with 'but's and 'what if's. He may not say it out loud or show it as much, but it's there, always and forever.
If you're the artist type, he might be fixing his bike, but he always needs some 'tool' from the tool storage chest that's beside the workbench you're sitting at. His not so subtle way of looking at your drawings
If you're more of the admirer of artwork, he'll listen to you ramble during lunch. Look at anything you point out to him. He shrugs it off and says it's dumb for looking so close at some brush stroke. Why is that so important?
He doesn't get it, really doesn't. However, if it makes you happy, then he supposes he's happy too.
Looking different in Bullworth is a blessing and a curse. Sure, you can have individually, but it comes with the price of your own sanity if you like people harassing you 99% of the time.
Making your own clothes/fixing them up peaks his interest. He's no expert, but he's patched up a few holes in his shirts, pants, and jacket. Might've been with a lighter and almost burning stuff. Not the point. The point is that he'll feel kinda stupid if he watches you do it. Less destructive, that's for sure.
Well... maybe not to your fingers, at least.
Thrift shopping? He'll go despite complaining all the way there. He can find some good stuff despite some of the... weirder finds. He'll hand it to you and shrug it off like it's not a huge deal.
————
I hope you like these!! Again so, so sorry this took forever!!
(This corny bitch and her childhood friend tropes omg why she requesting AGAIN????)
Ermmmm could I have Childhood friend reader x Ricky where the greasers are starting to notice him going "soft" i.e fighting less, studying more, and even doing domestic work around the house. This is just him and the greasers interacting but like... the guys are starting to notice, even Lola and Johnny are starting to notice the change and it'd be cool to see how that would go and how they would interact. Pls and thank youuuuu
Ooo wait this is lowkey COOKING
I realized halfway through this that I wrote WAY more than necessary. I think I blacked out or something (TwT)
Ricky & The Greasers — He's going soft
————
Lucky and Lefty
"Maybe I'd outta be your step-daddy and straighten you out" Lefty joked as he made a motion of making a belt 'smack,' like most of their parents have done at one point or another.
"Shut up, will you?" Ricky spat out, fingers pointing to Lefty's chest
"Woah— cool your jets, man" Lefty said hands raised in the air.
"He don't mean it, he's just—" Lucky hit Lefty's shoulder with a somewhat friendly pat, though they all knew he's warning him, "—fucked in the head since his old man let him smoke so much."
"Yeah, right," Ricky dismissed as he huffed and walked off, not wanting to deal with this bullshit.
Ricky's pretty close to Lucky and Lefty. They joke, they prod, they be stupid. It's what best friends are for, isn't it? Lefty's jokes sometimes cut too close to home, even for someone whose know him as long as Ricky has.
The people he spends basically all his time with are staring to annoy him.
Lucky and Lefty notice, out of anyone they should be the first. To them it's weird. Their closest buddy skipping out of rumbles, doing homework properly instead of flying through it, and being some sort of 'house husband'. It puts a weird taste in their mouths.
Lucky doesn't mind the change per se, Ricky's finally getting a hand on life. On the other hand, he does worry if this doesn't work out. How bad will the fallout be if Y/N rejects him? He can't say and he isn't sure if he wants to be around when it happens.
Meanwhile, Lefty continues to joke, saying that he'll 'straighten Ricky out.' He doesn't mean it, never would, but he doesn't like seeing Ricky like this — calm, and weirdly in his own world. It feels like his friend is slipping away and he's scared to lose the first friend he's ever made since coming to Bullworth
————
Johnny and Lola
Johnny sat on the couch, Lola on his lap. Normally, he'd be all on her, but his mind is somewhere completely different.
"What's wrong, Johnnycakes?"" She purred. A red nail found it's way under his chin, forcing him to look up at her.
He tilted his head away from her piercing gaze. She could basically smell his thoughts. He hated it. Though, he also hated how much lack of control he had when it came to her.
"Ricky, he's..." Johnny swallowed, shaking his head. He ignored her finger faltering, or the way her eyes narrowed, "Been acting strange lately. That's all."
Lola hummed. She leaned down, pressing her cheek to his head, and fingers running through his ungreased hair, "Real strange..."
Johnny doesn't know if he should be worried or happy for Ricky. After his whole ex-girlfriend deal, Ricky went downhill. Both Lucky and him silently worry about another spiral from happening
Unlike Lucky, Johnny gets distracted by Lola. Again.
However, him and Ricky start talking more cause of it. School subjects, advice, sometimes even on how to keep someone happy. Johnny's more meh on those topics, but he'll answer. Ricky's his friend, even if he's more like a sponge then a tough guy. Still, Johnny's glad Rocky's doing better for school work and himself. At least he'll be able to graduate unlike some of the others.
In general Lola could care less about Ricky and whatever weird business he gets himself into. However, even she can't ignore how weirdly soft he's gotten. If she can notice and openly admits it? there might be a problem. She doesn’t like putting the spotlight on someone else, especially a guy and his weird love life, if she isn't involved it's not her scene.
However, she develops a gripe towards Y/N, even after she's kicked out of the clique. It shouldn't concern her anymore, but it does. It really does
————
Peanut
"Hey—!" Peanut called out, knocking on Ricky's door harder than needed.
Ricky stiffened up before turning around in his chair. "Since when did you get in here?
"Call it an open invitation, hero," Peanut smiled with a half shrug. He didn't give Ricky a chance to speak as he spoke up, "Listen, the guys and I were gonna head out. Go and bother those cops by Oil Spill, you in?"
Ricky groaned as he turned back around, "Can't, busy."
Peanut raised a brow, since when is Ricky ever busy to go hang out? "Busy with what? Loving from afar?"
He expected a scoff or maybe an argument about him 'not being in love like some fairytale,' but... nothing. He stood in the doorway for a moment longer before deciding to saunter into the room.
Standing behind the chair, he looked over Ricky's shoulder. There were papers everywhere, random scribbles of equations on paper, and a calculator that looked older then both of them combined. He couldn't help but let out a low whistle. Since when did Ricky care this much?
Peanut never really expected Ricky to become the way he did. Soft around the edges, and becoming someone he doesn't recognize. It's not a bad thing, well to Peanut is isn't. Not entirely.
Ricky and his friendship doesn't change all that much, they steal, they drink/smoke, talk about bikes, be dumbasses, the usual. Though they talk more. Late night conversations that turn into morning conversations. Their friendship isn't loud, but solid. A foundation they both need, since the people they want aren't going to like them back.
Peanut definitely jokes about Ricky becoming a nerd, yet, helps him hide projects and assignments from the less forgiving people of their group.
————
Hal and Norton
The three of them were in the locker room, getting changed for gym.
Hal sat on the bench, tying his shoes.
Norton stood, arms over his head as he stretched.
And Ricky? He's beside Hal, brow knitted tight like a crazed grandma got too trigger happy with her knitting.
"There ain't nothing wrong," Ricky tried to defend himself. The question has been bugging him a lot lately, he's fine, can't his buddies see that?
"Yeah, you're fine," Norton replied, though there's too much snark in his tone, too much to say he believed Ricky.
"Seriously—"
Hal patted his shoulder, "Listen, you haven't been yourself. Johnny might kick you out if you don't toughen up."
Ricky scoffed, though his hand subconsciously went to the draw strings of his shorts, tying them just a bit too tight, "I'm fine, why does everyone keep asking me that?"
The locker room had it's usually chatter and jeers jumping off the walls, but the three boys went quiet.
That's until Rocky stood and headed out into the gym. Avoiding them likes he's been everyone for the last little while.
"Good going," Norton's scoffed, foot hit Hal's.
Hal shrugged, but his eyes looked at the door for a second to long.
Norton's glad like everyone else that Ricky FINALLY can shut up about a girl who doesn't matter to them anymore. He may have never spoken bad about them outright, but definitely questioned the aftermath of their relationship as Ricky 'going to the mad house'
He's worried about Ricky. They were never close, but they're still buddies through and through. Norton may be snarky and sarcastic, yet, if it came down to it Norton would help even if it came with comments that unintentionally cut deep.
Hal enjoys the fact that him and Ricky can cook with him. It's how they connect during all of this. Ricky asks for advice kitchen wise, and Hal provides. He has some weird, but good cleaning advice too.
They've been partners in Home Ec loads of times. For Ricky, it now feels more personal, he's just glad to have someone who doesn't act like they hate how he's acting lately.
Hal cares deeply, maybe too much at times, but he's gonna speak up and more directly than Norton ever will.
————
Vance
Ricky sat across from him as they were eating. However, Vance's eyes couldn't help but stray not too far from Ricky. No complaining about his ex, getting better at school. He almost felt sick just thinking about it.
"Seriously what's your deal, pinwheel?" While being annoyed Vance can seem to never shut his mouth for a joke
"What?" Ricky asked, cheeks puffed up like a chipmunk before he swallowed down his food.
"This—!" Vance waved his hand, vaguely gesturing towards Ricky.
Ricky only looked at him, confused about whatever the hell Vance is going on about.
Vance held up his hand, starting to count of his fingers, "Been busy all week being nerdy, no fights, smelling like a hospital, and no ex-girlfriend chit-chat."
He out his hand down before grabbing a pile of fries to stuff in his mouth. It turned his speech all muffled, "Seriously. You're like. Different. A weird different."
Ricky scoffed as he picked at his food with a plastic fork, "Ain't different..."
Vance already knows by the fact that Ricky is not complaining about her as much. It makes him more then glad, despite what he makes it seem like. He really hates talking about her, and her, and her, and— It might as well make him lose his goddamn mind at this rate.
Now he can finally have a conversation with a guy he rarely knows instead of focusing on 'girl problems,' and him having to try and lead him off again. He feels free
Vance still helps Ricky look nice, teasing him about seeing Y/N, and how he should 'look presentable.' His teasing is unforgiving, even as he's acting as 'wing-man.'
Fun idea, but these headcanon might take a while so either reject or set it aside, do what you will queen >:)
Derby, Bif, Parker, Russell, Johnny, Ricky, Norton, Peanut, and Lola with a crush on someone who is extremely dense and misreads situations as platonic when it's obviously romantic.
Hehe thank yewww
Added on to the request like you mentioned:
"Also in my request abt the dense reader, I forgot to mention that the reader is smart enough to analyze social situations, just too dumb for romantic settings"
I wish I got this done sooner, but I straight up had zero idea which direction to take this, so... some pretty short general headcanons
His whole life and overall mentality revolves around self-importance. He's Derby Harrington, just his name demands to be spoken about. Yet, you don't. Not in the way he wants. For him, he's interested. Too interested.
Derby doesn't sugar coat things. If he isn't around important investors or his parents, he isn't going to care. You're no exception. However, the problem with this is that he words things like he doesn't mean it.
"I enjoy your company." I like being around you
"What you doing is serviceable." You're good at what you do.
Derby is a confusing man. He doesn't explain or sees the sense in doing it. All the while being stubborn in what he wants. He wants you, but he'll never word it like that.
Bif Taylor
Stubbornness is practically coded into the Preps bloodline, but Bif's? potentially even worse. Boxing for so long has taught him many things; be patient for the opening, and be stubborn to not go down.
While you don't notice, he does a lot behind your back, like getting people off of your back (bullying or threatening other kids. Teachers aren't left out either.) Meanwhile, in front of you? The most pitch-perfect gentlemen ever. Holding open doors, carrying your stuff, walking you to class etc.
His parents taught him well, but clearly not well enough. How can he be better for someone who can't see his effort? It's frustrating because he can't figure it out, but he's nothing, if not persistent. It's a one sided cycle where you can't see his effort because that's just how he is, isn't it?
Parker Ogilvie
He gives up multiple times, but then he goes right back to trying again
You give him confidence to play risky moves. Gifts that are a little to personal, words that are picked right for that situation. The nervousness begins to leave, slow but steady.
No matter how much he loves you, he cannot deny how annoying it is to how you be so blind. Yet, selfishly so, he sees this as a good opportunity to try the things he wasn't able to before. You make him into a man he wants to be. You may not know it, but he loves you ever more for that.
Russell Northrop
Russell attempts the best he can. He doesn't really know that you don't know, but know. You two stay as friends way longer than anyone else wants you to. The bullies are annoyed, but equally just as assholes to leave you two stranded to figure it out.
Often gets you flowers, cause pretty/handsome/awesome people like flowers, right?
"Russell got this for Y/N." I saw this and it reminds me of you.
He isn't sure how to word his feelings so he deals with it the only way he can — fists and stories that seem like fairytales. You like that, don't you? It's not like you've rejected him or told him to stop, so he'll keep doing it
Johnny Vincent
Distant and avoiding is how he usually acts, still he gets like this with people he's too close with. After Lola, it became a coping mechanism. His coping mechanism.
However, you make him bolder. He can literally see that you're not connecting each hint despite how smart you are. It both pisses him off, and makes him want your attention more.
Sharing seems like his love language. Really, it's an excuse to get closer.
He feels stupid for trying so hard, but he can't help it. He never was able to help his impulsive thoughts with Lola, nor is he going to stop for you
Larry Peanut Romano
His self-esteem is totally shot. It feels like nothing he does crosses your mind besides 'friends being flirty.' It make him partially lose his mind because he thinks he's losing his touch. No, it's all you.
Yet, he can't help but be paranoid regardless. Like an idiot he still tries, but he feels a bit of his heart cracking each time a few flirty words or a kind gesture fall flat.
One time he offered you, his jacket. It was getting colder out. He was so nervous, and all you said was 'thanks,' moved on, and never spoke about it again.
He hates himself for not being forward enough.
Lola Lombardi
Lola isn't one to hide the fact that she likes someone, especially when it comes to someone like you. Yet, you don't 'clue-in.' It pisses her off big time.
She's quite touchy; hands on your shoulders, nails lightly scratching your skin, leaning over your shoulder, face too close. She's all over you, literally and metaphorically. Despite all of this, it seems like you're the last person to realize, "Oh, she likes me."
At this point she's frustrated, groaning, and whining with an obvious attitude. You ask her what's wrong, and yet… she can't be mad, not entirely.
She bawls in your arms saying how the world isn't fair. For a moment she can believe that your hers.
Norton Williams
Despite being tall and imposing, Norton likes to flash the idea that he's 'soft.' It'd never cross your mind when he does things that his buddies make fun of him for. All the while, he's indirectly writing you poems. "It's about sunsets," He tells you. You don't bat an eye. These poems are about you. Details become coincidences and so on.
Asks for you opinions on books (even if you don't read. Hell, he offer to read it to you so you two could discuss it). Regardless, he does this to pull your attention towards him.
These aren't all coincidences, not as far as he's concerned
Ricky Pucino
The spark he feels never seems to waver, despite having most of his efforts go straight in the bin.
He does things he's never done before so you can purposefully notice; getting better grades, getting in less trouble, buying you things instead of stealing (sometimes, this one is EXTRA rare)
His friends notice and poke fun at him. Meanwhile, Ricky pretends to be ignorant, though he knows what he's doing. He just wants you to notice him. One day, he hopes, one day. For now he'll play the long game, not forcing it, but also not stepping aside and letting you pass by him.
More general Johnny Vincent headcannons if you can please!! 🥺 I love the way you write them sm, you genuinely understand them
Yes yes of course! And thank you so much !!
Genuniely means the world to me because I take way to much time looking at them. Not like I mind *wink wink*
I find it funny how much I've developed over the weeks of doing general headcanons because I relooked at Johnny's and YIKES. compared to my Lefty and Ricky ones? my boy is bare, gawdamn!

General Johnny Vincent Headcanons
Original post
His parents got arrested when he was 14. This forced him to instantly grow up.
They weren’t the best, but he thought things were getting better. He thought they’d stop fighting and pretend to be a family instead of hating each other's guts all the time.
He was so wrong.
The day before it all went to hell, his mother made some baked goods, his father scooping up batter and smearing it on her face and they laughed. The next day? Screaming, threatening each other. His mother giving chase to his father around the house.
He doesn’t want to know what happened. It’s better if he didn’t.
Johnny’s insecure because he’s still in that 14 year old mindset. Obviously he’s grown in other ways and is different, but it felt like his world came to a full stop after watching his parents get shoved into different police cruisers. He’s scared of showing something he shouldn’t.
He’s 18, he should feel grown, yet, he can’t. Not when he wishes in the middle of the night for them to just come back. He wants them back as much as he shouldn’t
Lola is his substitute for normalcy. She makes him feel like a man, not some boy. That’s why he doesn’t leave because he can’t.
In his quotes of getting beaten in a fight he says that he hopes Lola didn’t see that. He thinks of her first because she put him first all those years ago.
It's different now, but he can't let go.
He loves her like an abusive owner hurts its dog. No matter how much she makes him hurt, he’ll always have his eye reflecting her.
This is beta content, but I find it interesting how im ch.5 when you fight the Greasers Johnny was supposed to be cheating on Lola with Mandy.
With all the events that happened towards him, I wouldn't be surprised if he was done with her shit and went onto someone else, aka Mandy. Besides she literally admits to wanting to know what it's like to ‘fuck Johnny Vincent’ listen. They got the best of both worlds… kind of
Johnny's a cheater and Mandy is heartbroken. She probably just needed something to fill the void after Ted dumped her.
All the same Johnny finally realizes he doesn’t need Lola. She’s put him through enough grief all year (Possibly even longer)
He gives people the benefit of the doubt, only if they have some good rep in the school
For example Jimmy. After chapter 2 and word spreads around that Jimmy single handedly beat the Preps. Sure, he sends Peanut to do it, but that's the thing. He still sent someone to go talk to Jimmy about helping his clique out. He's willing to branch out to this supposed ‘new kid’ to help him out in his cheating situation.
Besides what 15 year old can beat Bif, Derby AND their whole clique. That is an ALLY right there. I would want that guy on my side too
…until Lola makes Jimmy do all that shit for her 💔💔 It would’ve all be fine.
ALSO in ch.5 when Vance tells Jimmy that “Johnny says you’re no friend of ours.” Despite… saving him from the asylum and being on good terms I WOULD THINK ANYWAYS. My guy saved you from the worst place in Bullworth and you still have the balls to say that you guys aren’t on good terms, bffr.
Either a developer oversight OR since the whole school hates Jimmy, Johnny doesn’t want to associate with him to save him and his clique because if he did stay by Jimmy’s side, everyone, including him would get targeted by like 40 some other students (Excluding non-cliques). He did it to save both sides.
However, during his fight (ch.5), he hates the fact that Jimmy sent the whole school to hell. He has that right to be angry.
I wish I was smarter to do deeper analysis', but nah, nope, nada. So heres some sillier ones (kinda)
Has a deep, and I mean DEEP hatred for oranges. They make his hands smell for HOURS, even after the motor oil and cigarettes.
The mixed smells make him silently gag. Not a good combo in his opinion.
Even his parents would argue (9-12), he went and exercised instead.
This lead him to always having a mean right hook
Exercising makes him feel better. It pushes him to his limits so he can’t think, just one more rep.
Has the least amount of appetite compared to his friends,. Just naturally not hungry.
...He taught himself to be that way, let the others eat before himself. It lead to him just not eating much at all.
However, don't EVER try and take his food after a race, he will eat like he's starving, which, technically, he is.
Sleeps like a log because his parents did not give a FUCK what noise they played around him, he will not wake up for a fire this fella is so deep in sleep. (This is, in fact, based off of me because I can't wake up for nothing most days *crying*)
An absolute BEAST at beer pong. You better have him on your team of your screwed.
Physical sports / games are just his thing honestly.
Claw machines too. He won a lot of stuff for Lola when they went out on dates. They're rigged as shit, but he's gotten around it more times than you can count.
Seems like he should be the responsible one cause yk, clique leader, but no he's just as stupid as the others.
Imagine that one clip of Family guy, "I'm Peter Griffin, and this is Roof-Shopping-Cart Guys" that's them. Johnny's encouraging the behaviour.
Twin, I had 1 glass and 1 shot and am feeling tipsy. Could I request ricky x Childhood friend reader where the greasers are drinking and Ricky gets so intoxicated that he gets uncharacteristically flushed and bubbly and starts babbling about his friend and why he loves them and everything? Just sappy monolouge that nobody would expect out of him.
I hope those drinks were good twin cause you didn’t share. Smh…
HOWEVER this was supposed to be done earlier but I lowkey forgot about this in my inbox, so, uhm, awkward…
Drunk!Ricky Pucino x Childhoodfriend!reader
Just a few drinks, Ricky told himself, Just a few.
Oh boy how that turned into a total shit show…
Ricky wasn’t much of a drinker, he’s told that to pretty much everyone who asked. “I don’t like it,” is his reasoning. However, that isn’t entirely true. The taste is less to be desired, but he’s too much of a lightweight to handle his alcohol. Ricky Pucino, tough Greaser, and best mechanic in town is a fucking lightweight.
He hates it. God, does he ever.
“You comin’?” Lefty asked him.
He blinked, realizing that he wasn't listening, “What?”
Lefty scoffed as his his hands found its way to his pockets, “Tonight at the tenements we’re drinkin.’”
“...Right.” How could he forget? They were celebrating cause of that race.
“Y/N’s gonna be there— Ow!” Lefty bursted out laughing after Ricky backhanded his arm.
The little shit trying to use his weak—friend as a ploy to get him to go.
…It did make him want to go.
As much as he hated drinking, he didn’t exactly want to be there, without you. The last time you got drunk it filled him with dread and butterflies. Maybe tonight he could say something without being a total idiot. Slip his hand too close and he can play it off as the alcohol pumping through his veins, making him clumsy.
Just a few drinks, he told himself, not more than three.
The guys decided to play beer pong, a shot per ball that missed the cup. Nothing better than celebrating a victory like that. He couldn't refuse that logic.
One shot, two, three — Now he’s getting sloppier — four, five… six? He can’t remember.
“It’s attractive when you concentrate like that…” He blurted out towards you.
You looked at him, and his eyes were on you, his smile stupid, and his posture too unsteady to be his own.
The guys eyed you two. They knew everything Ricky thought about you, and they sure as hell knew what you thought of Ricky.
…Only a matter of time until you two put two and two together and finally got together.
Yet, they said nothing, not verbally anyways. They nudged each other, gesturing towards Ricky with a jerk of their chin. All the while Ricky paid no mind, his eyes only reflected you.
You had no idea if you wanted to laugh or cry. Is it the alcohol or just the stupidity of the situation? “Thanks?”
“Pal… you got no idea.” He kept blabbering on as ping pongs came from across the table, “You’re just… so amazing.”
At some point you went off, getting another drink, got the sudden munchies, or going to the bathroom, regardless you were gone for less than 10 minutes.
You were better off then Ricky, that’s for sure. He was as graceful as a baby deer. That’s to say, nothing at all. Though you weren’t faring all too well, starting to zone out, getting tired, all the junk you didn’t want happening tonight.
With a hand on the wall to make sure you weren’t going to bump into corners, you could hear Ricky from the hallway and down to the room they were occupying. Not like he was trying to be quiet, not with Hal’s radio blasting music and the others chatting away.
“I love them so much… why don’t they love me?” He asked Vance, despite you standing right there.
“I dunno,” Vance shrugged, not entirely blowing off the conversation, but he’s clearly done with it.
“Y/N’s so smart… and hot… and I mean look at them.” Ricky just kept going, on and on, like a machine unable to stop.
Vance, reasonably, was so done. Unfortunately for you, he spotted you standing nearby, and he directed Ricky’s attention over to you, wiping his hands together like he did a good job.
…Bastard.
“Where the hell were you?” He really attempted to try and act angry, but he couldn’t. He kept stumbling into walls, or non-existent ones anyways.
“Did I tell you that you’re better than her?”
Today already was long, tonight’s only gonna get longer.
