Lots of things to unpack here. 

First off, the way you’re speaking of the Skam Dutch team is unwarranted and nasty. They are a FAN account, meaning that they have no inside information, they do not know any more than any of us do. They work extremely hard to provide subs, transcripts, overviews of each episode and answer the many questions they receive, many of which I’m sure are just as distasteful as the one you sent me.

The official show is under no obligation either to reveal to us the reason for Sara not being on the show this season. If you can remember, she was missing quite often in season 1 as well, due to some personal difficulties, but that was neither the show nor Sara’s fault. 

I’m not sure if you’re aware, but shows morph all the time, actors leave, and other actors come in, it’s the nature of being human. Sometimes there are logistical reasons such as an actor being sick, pregnant or hired for another job. Other times it is never revealed, because the people involved are not open books, we don’t have the right to know everything about them just because they were on a more public stage than most people.

As for the islamophobia (yes, that’s how it should be spelled) comment, I’m not sure if you know but there is a completely unique character on the show this season named Esra, who is a muslim woman who wears a headscarf! She’s amazing and a fantastic addition to the show!

Someone on reddit actually did some sleuthing and found out that Sara got into theatre school in Amsterdam (AKTA) and probably couldn’t make the schedule work with Skam NL, hence why she left. Sara seems really happy to be attending this school, and the show has been gracious enough in respecting her wishes to put her studies first. They even left her departure open-ended so that she can always come back. So it’s a bit unfair to blame Imaan’s absence on islamophobia when that doesn’t seem to be the case at all.

btw i think noah does not have a ‘boyband’ like the other williams do? the only person we see him with is gijs and he is usually alone, basically in every scene he is in. i think he doesn’t even have actual friends other than gijs. he was even alone in the confrontation scene where all of the other williams had their friends. he is clearly not into sports or clubs either…

he had been isolating himself, even from s1, we could’ve seen that difference with his counterparts.
