double-tagging drama where someone was completely polite and made a guide to tagging but some people kept calling it ‘policing’ and acting like they were being forced to do it??? drama ensued and friends ended up hurting eachother

I know Neopets isn’t perfect, but all the time when I see their female characters, all I can think of is how much Tumblr should love them, because they’re really wonderful and don’t get nearly as much recognition as they deserve honestly

I mean, there’s Hannah, the bartender-turned-treasure-hunter

There’s Roberta, diplomat of Brightvale and sorceress in training, who saved Faerieland and Meridell

And Rosie, a huge green dinosaur who loves dancing and picking flowers

Plots always have some awesome ladies, like Clara, the snarky scholar who helped discover an entire underground civilation, or Brynn, the royal guard who was one of the youngest knights to ever serve in Brightvale and helped save Neopia

   Or maybe you prefer villains, like Xandra,who successfully managed to make Faerieland crash into the ground

Or witches, like Sophie and Edna

  And of course, all the different faeries who each have different personalities, abilities, and roles in Neopia, from being the queen of Faerieland to the embodiment of pure darkness and evil

I mean, look at all of these great characters. There are tons more, too. They’re all unique and special and stand out in their own way, and they all deserve so much more recognition, because these are some awesome female characters
