I find it very interesting that Oliver Banks is kind of the only other avatar that ACTIVELY wants to do good. Like actively tries to help with no ulterior motive.

When we think of The End, and its connection to death and finality, it's often regarded as one of the biggest fears that humanity has. It's probably one of the oldest ones. But we see that aside from the identity theft, Oliver is more passive than other avatars who actively do harm (Jane Prentiss, Jude Perry, Simon Fairchild). He doesn't take joy in seeing people die or suffer like you would expect an avatar of a primordial fear entity. In fact, despite knowing that no matter what he does people will die, he tries anyway. He tried to warn Gertrude about her death, even though he knew it was futile. He tried to warn the statement giver to wear earplugs and avoid Grifter's Bone. Approaching Jon at his deathbed and waking him must have given him such a sense of catharsis because finally, finally, he could help for once. Even during the apocalypse, the "statement" of his domain is actively directed at Jon, which is very different from the other domains and the avatars that run them. Even in the apocalypse, with his own domain at his fingertips, sustained by the fears of those who came to his domain, he felt no hostility towards Jon's attempt, and still warned him that fear is a finite resource in the apocalypse, and that the only way to ensure the world didn't end was to reverse it somehow. Even then he still tried to make things right!!! Out of all the avatars, he is probably the most harmless and chill, and DOESN'T enjoy the power that has been foisted upon him, yet still tries to maintain hope and do good.

Terminal velocity is so funny because people draw Oliver as like the most beautiful man ever. he looks like he spends at least five hours looking in a mirror getting ready every day and then Mike looks like he just rolled out of bed and wore everything he could find because he was cold

That’s parts not important, the important part is that for the time being until she figures out what possessed/replaced Sasha she’s calling her Not Sasha
