“Wineberry”

Wineberry is a plant species native to Northeast Asia. In both Europe and North America it has been naturalized as an ornamental plant. It’s berries are edible and are reminiscent of raspberries and balckberries. Often, these berries have been used to make wine, which is where this species gets its name. In the Northeastern United States, the Wineberry is considered an invasive species.
