17.08.17 | finishing up week 8 of the summer language challenge! honestly i did not have as much time as i would have liked to work on this over the summer but i’m going to persist anyway. this week i mostly studied grammar & conjugations, which still throw me off a little bc of the pronoun drop so i think it’s really important that i get the present tense ones down pat! as always please please please correct any mistakes i make in the paragraph below.

Hi! first of all, love your blog! second, if you don't mind me asking, what font did you use for your header and how did you gave it that marker effect?

thank you! for my mobile header, i used the app phonto and downloaded the font mayton! i decreased the transparency (under “alpha” in the “style” section on phonto) to get the overlapping kind of effect. then i used phonto’s curving feature to curve the text.

today i spent most of my day reading (again, lol) and studying the history of ancient greek language! i decided on which dialect i would study and decided that i’d study ancient greek from the classical period, specifically attic and ionic. then i practiced brush strokes for hiragana and memorized a few more of the characters, and went on reading about greek mythology. it was a really great day.

rewriting my maths notes from this first week of uni. i’m kinda disappointed this are the kind of maths i’m studying in a management degree, i thought once high school was over i wouldn’t have to deal with functions anymore… i hate them :( luckily, on the third semester we’re studying financial maths, yay!
