Right. I doubt anyoneās around, but Iām posting screenshots anyway because I feel like sharing them and I have nowhere else to post them. Instagram, as I learned, is not the place for this sort of thing (at least according to my followers).

Victor says hello.
Okay so, itās been a while... Is simblr still a thing?Ā Ā
I was kind of thinking of coming back, if thereās still a community. I might make a new account, though, since this is still a side account and I probably canāt actually like or comment (unless things have changed). Anyway, if anyoneās still here...Ā
Reblog if youāre a simblr (:
Iām looking for more of your wonderful blogs to follow, and more of your beautiful simmies and storys to fall in love with. It doesnāt matter what game you play, I just want to see all of your pretty sims and read all of your fun stories!Ā Please reblog or like, and Iāll check out your blog!Ā
You are the real mvp!
@stargazersims
Thanks...but Iām just telling it like I see it.Ā I didnāt do it for kudos.Ā I did it because I felt it needed to be done.Ā Thanks for reading it.Ā
This sad community.
This community is often pathetic. If itās not one thing ripping it apart itās another. Each of you reblogging a āIf you hate Trump unfollow meā message should be ashamed of yourselves. You lack respect for the opinions and beliefs of others. You refuse to understand where other people are coming from. If itās not your way then itās the high way. Nobody is obligated to bow down to you and kiss your but. Nobody has to be your carbon copy to have fun with you or enjoy your content. You all act like immature teenagers but half of you are not. Thatās an indictment on you. Grow up. People were created differently. We stand for different things. Yea Trump might suck as a person but if his policy was what voter agreed with, good for them. At least they did vote. At least they were able to vote.
I donāt care who you voted for, come follow me.
In principle, I agree with this.Ā
I can understand why people are shaken and upset by Trumpās victory.Ā Iām not even American and Iām shaken and upset by it.Ā His victory is going to have an impact on the entire world, not just on the United States and not just on a select group of people (i.e. LGBT, Black, Hispanic or Muslim) in the United States.Ā Trumpās presidency isnāt going to be good for anyone, except perhaps Trump himself.Ā
On the other hand, I also understand Trumpās appeal to a certain cadre of voters.Ā As a heterosexual, cisgender white person (even though I have a physical disability and Iām a woman), it gets tiring to be labelled by innumerable liberals and social justice warriors as the logical object of hatred and the source of all problems currently existing in modern culture and society.Ā That, in itself, is a form of ostracism.Ā the number of times Iāve seen people post statements like, āI hate all straight scumā orĀ āDown with cisā or āWhite people deserve to be hatedā is distressing.Ā Yes, we are the āmajorityā but hating us and using our sexuality, gender or race as an excuse to behave badly toward us is no more correct than the discrimination and social marginalization that, historically, has been committed against sexually or racially diverse groups.Ā People posting and reblogging āI hate Trump / Trump Supportersā and āUnfollow me if you support Trumpā are perpetuating this very act of countering hatred with hatred.Ā That is, in fact, a very Trump-like thing to do, and itās not going to solve anything.
Do I agree with Trump?Ā ABSOLUTELY NOT.Ā Ā If I were American, I would not have supported him or voted for him.Ā I think his views on women, visible minorities and LGBTQ people are abhorrent and disgusting.Ā I think his plans to abolish Obamacare, NAFTA and a handful of other beneficial programs and policies is selfish, stupid and utterly inconsiderate of the people of his country - both those who voted for him and those who didnāt.
All of that having been said, nobody has any idea who any of their followers voted for and, more importantly, nobody has any control over how someone else chooses to exercise their democratic rights.Ā How someone votes has little to no correlation with whether or not they enjoy a game, a story, or someoneās creative work of art.Ā A Trump supporter can like your blog just as much as a Clinton supporter or a disgruntled Sanders supporter or (gods forbid!) a Canadian with her own opinions on US politics.Ā Ā Ā Saying āUnfollow me if you support Trumpā is just as bad as saying āUnfollow me if youāre whiteā or āUnfollow me if youāre straightā or āUnfollow me if youāre a Canadian with an opinionā.Ā I hope none of you would do that.
Yes, I understand that a lot of people are shocked, angry and scared today.Ā They have every right to be.Ā But, letās not allow anger and fear to spill over into a community thatās supposed to provide an escape from all that.Ā Peopleās political opinions should not be the criteria on which we permit entry into this community.Ā Weāre all meant to have fun here, and when we start trying to place conditions on who can or cannot look at our content, weāre becoming part of the problem, not part of the solution.
So, bottom line?Ā Donāt worry about how somebody else voted in the US election.Ā If you voted the way your conscience told you to, be content with your own choice.Ā Let other people worry about their own choices - unconscionable or otherwise.Ā Letās just enjoy the stories and the content without trying to Thought Police each other.
The Sims 4 City Living takes the core game in a lot of new directions, and building this new world was Maxis' biggest Sims challenge yet.
This is actually a very interesting review/interview featuring some quotes from Grant Rodiek.Ā Make of it what you will.Ā Iām still not convinced I want to spend $40 on something that, in essence, looks like just a slightly larger Game Pack.
Iām still alive!
Iāve been MIA for a while, I know, and I owe a bunch of replies and answers to asks.Ā Iām really sorry I havenāt gotten to any of that stuff.Ā Iām not sure when Iām going to be able to.
In case anybody is wondering whatās been going on, thereās more under the cut.
Allure Shirt for the Sims 4.
Now that I know how to use blender (better than before at last), I was able to create a classier version of my Don Juan Shirt. Available for teen to elder men, with 20 color options.
I plan to create patterned and jean versions of this one :o

If Iām reading this right, we canāt place elevators on lots we build.Ā So, we canāt do much building in San Myshuno, we canāt build apartments anywhere and we canāt place elevators on our own lots in the worlds.Ā Oh well.
Doing a little late-night composing?
Aubrey: Itās not that late.Ā I realized I hadnāt practiced today, though, so I thought Iād sit down and play for a bit.Ā My piano is a dear companion.Ā It always helps me feel calm after a busy day.Ā
Zach: *whispering*Ā You taste like poetry.
Aubrey: I love you.Ā I love us together, and I love the family weāve raised together.
Zach: I love you too, and I love our family.Ā Sometimes, it might not look like I do, butā
Aubrey: I know you love our family.Ā I just want you to know, I understand why you were worried about Autumn coming to stay, and Iām sorry if I caused a scene when we first discussed it.Ā I realize you were trying to think of what would be best for everyone.
Zach: Iām glad you understand.Ā I was worried youād be mad at me.
Aubrey: At first I was, a little, but I can never stay cross with you.Ā Besides, I think you may have been right.
Zach: I was?Ā About what?
Aubrey: A point may come when youāll have to ask Autumn to leave. I think weāll be all right for the time being, but Iām afraid sheās got more going on than just disappointment over this television bachelor business.Ā Iāll do the best I can to help her get sorted, but if sheās going to keep behaving like she did todayā¦
Zach: Just let me know when youāve had enough, okay?
Aubrey: Iām still hoping it wonāt come to that.
Zach: But, if it doesā
Aubrey: I promise Iāll tell you.
Zach: Thatās all Iām asking but, honestly, I hope it wonāt come to that point, either.
Aubrey: Then, letās try to be optimistic, shall we?
Zach: Youāre much better at that than me.Ā Youāll have to help me.Ā Remind me to think positive and all that.
Aubrey: *smiling*Ā Of course I will.
Zach: Can we cuddle, at least?
Aubrey: Iād like that.
Zach: Itās been an eventful day, hasnāt it?
Aubrey: Yes, and I think this is a nice way to end an eventful day.Ā I think Iāll sleep exceptionally well after this.
Zach: Me too, but I always sleep well when Iām next to you.
Aubrey: You say the sweetest things.
Zach: Maybe I was inspired by Stardust and Solai.Ā Can you believe they want to get married?
Aubrey: They havenāt been seeing each other all that long.Ā I wonder if we shouldnāt have advised them to wait a bit.
Zach: I think theyāll be okay. Sometimes you just know when somethingās right.Ā I mean, look at us. We werenāt together very long either before I asked you to marry me, and weāve made it this far.Ā Ā
Aubrey: In hindsight, I think I knew we were right the day we met.Ā It was a bit like a fairy tale in my head, really.Ā Being rescued by a handsome prince and all.
Zach: Have I mentioned lately how adorable you are?
Zach: Are you sure you donāt want to get frisky?
Aubrey: Itās not a matter of want.Ā Donāt you think we should employ at least a little self-control?
Zach: I guess.Ā But...
Aubrey: But what?
Zach: Weāre not going to have a total ban on woohoo the whole time the kidās here, are we?
Aubrey: *laughing* Letās not get carried away, darling. Even I donāt have that much self-control.
Aubrey: That feels wonderful.Ā Donāt stop yet.
Zach: You want to hop in the shower with me?Ā I can think of other parts of you to massage.
Aubrey: Arenāt you tired at all?
Zach: Not too tired to play around a little.
Aubrey: Well, Iām tired.Ā I think Iād enjoy a soak in the hot tub.
Zach: Can we get naked?
Aubrey: Only if you want to run the risk of Autumn seeing you in your birthday suit.
Zach: Goodbye, fun times.Ā Hello, boomerang parenthood.
Aubrey: *laughing*Ā And you say Iām melodramatic.
Stardust:Ā Bye Daddy! Bye Papa!Ā
Zach: Arenāt you going to say goodbye to your sister?
Stardust: Oh yeah. *waving* Bye-bye human!
Stardust: Well, weāre off.Ā Papa, Iāll call you sometime next week and we can go have lunch somewhere and talk medical school, okay?
Zach: Okay. Sounds good.
Aubrey:Ā Stardust, when you go home, you tell your brother not to be a stranger.Ā We havenāt seen him and Zida and Nash for far too long.
Stardust: Isnāt Nash coming to stay with you when Zida and Sky go on their exciting vacation to San Myshuno?
Aubrey: Yes, but that wonāt be for another few weeks.Ā Weād like to see them before then.Ā Tell them that if they donāt want to come see us, weāll certainly invite ourselves over to see them.
Stardust: Okay.Ā Will do.Ā
Zach: And tell Nash we have a water slide.
Stardust: *laughing*Ā If you promise we can play on it, Iāll bring Nash over here for a visit myself.
Zach: Itās a deal.
