Hey everyone. Friendly reminder that Joe Benton is a rapist, his wife Melanie Jablonski aka Madge Exe helps cover for him and goes out of her way to discredit his victims and those who call them both out (even going so far as to make false cps reports), and their band Kids On The Spectrum (which neither of them are) has stolen music from other local bands that are actually good and not rapists. Not enough people know or care about this. Dishonorable mention of shitty behavior, back when they were called “Venus in Jeans, Mel redesigned their whole look and gave them all masks/wigs/aliases so she could sneak Joe into bars he’s been explicitly banned from due to violent behavior. They are both bad people and you absolutely should not pay to go to any show of theirs as that puts money in their pockets.

Oh hey. It’s world national breastfeeding week again. This is where I’m at. The twins stopped breastfeeding in the last month or so of last year, probably due in large to them and me having Covid, and having to periodically use nipple shields due to reoccurring thrush. It also was just too much to tandem feed on the regular without topher home to help. I’ve been pumping every day since then though. Currently I’m making about 8oz a day, max. I started a new birth control because my old one wasn’t working, and it has more estrogen, which causes your supply to drop. (Mine has been dropping for several months now.) While I know that realistically it’s time, I’m still very sad about not having been able to breastfeed these last eight months. There is a lot about my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey that didn’t go how I planned or even hoped, but I have two healthy babies and that’s what matters.
