How did you learn to digitally paint??? (currently attempting to learn and it's hard af =.=)

I'm not at expert at it, but I think there are two ways that I've seen tutorials of?? You can start w/ a light color/opacity to get the general shapes and then slowly define everything w/ darker colors. Or you can do what I do and draw something>put base colors/shading lighting underneath>merge everything>finish shading/refining to it it that painted look. I would just youtube speedpaints to get an idea of what people are doing 6_9 I'm no help I'm so sorry /rolls away
